The Nutella and banana French toast is amazing. Everything was on point, the omelette, breakfast sausage, toast and the coffee. I can’t wait to return and the servers are great very friendly and attentive. A must try for breakfast or brunch.Our server was Ashley and she is amazing ask for her if you can.

The go to spot in the area for breakfast. Always consistent and priced accordingly. Good luck finding a table on the weekends your best bet is ordering to go. We love their French toast and eggs Benedict!!

Great breakfast spot! We were visiting Hartford for the weekend and stopped here on a Saturday morning for breakfast.As of August 22, it was outdoor dining only. Didnt actually count them, but there were probably ~15 tables on the patio. Most were 2 person tables.Felt very safe regarding COVID. Waiting line in the parking lot had Xs on the ground marking 6-foot distancing. Servers were all masked properly. All guests we saw were masked properly too while waiting. Most then took masks off once seated. Laminated menus were taped up on the walls, and specials were on a chalkboard by the entrance.At 8:30am on a nice Saturday morning, we only had to wait a few minutes, but the line grew while we were there. Building provides shade for the patio on what was a very warm morning.We got the lobster breakfast sandwich and the biscuits and sausage gravy. Both were delicious! Would definitely come back!

Great service and interesting menu. With that of course comes popularity so get there early to avoid a line. It’s still worth the wait though if there is a line. It moves pretty fast.

I came here on a Sunday morning for breakfast with some friends. The place is very popular and had a long line at 10am outside. We were seated after about 15 min and quickly helped by a server. The inside is cute and the staff all very friendly, there were also a lot of specials posted! The omelettes were a little small for the price but the eggs benedict was definitely worth it. The home fries were delicious and well seasoned and the hollandaise perfect. Id recommend a stop in, but get there early!

Awful experience!!!!I was in the area, decide to grab brunch. What a distasteful experience. I am aware of the demographic in that town. But I guess they dont serve or cater to black people. Standing there waiting to be seated, then finally decided to venture in. I was told to have a seat at one of the available tables. Sat there waiting for about 10 minutes, while the waitress. An old white lady completely ignored me, drank her soda and continued to chat with some folks. I dont need this prejudice and I would definitely NOT recommend this place, regardless of how appetizing the menu look. I got up and left.

Truly a wonderful experience! The extensive menu is reasonably priced with food that tastes amazing. The staff is incredibly welcoming and treats everyone like family. I love this place!

Impeccably clean, exceptionally friendly, courteous & swift staff. Even when they were busy they had the best Eggs Benedict Ive ever had on my table so fast that my coffee was still too hot to drink.

Food and service were good but owners are trying to run a catering service the same time as the morning breakfast rush so be prepared for the 1 and 1/2 hour experience for you food to come out.

Me and my mother have been there many times in the past but it’s been awhile since we were back. I was not very happy on how the waitress spoke to me in a very condescending way. I was speaking to my mother in our language and I don’t know if she was offended or disliked bilinguals. My breakfast was very bland I had a veggie omelette. I tipped her well even tho I wasn’t happy with food or her demeanor towards us. Not going back

Get there early. This place fills up quickly with regular locals on Saturday. Seems like everybody knows each other there. The reason they are so popular is the very good food, great service and lightning fast kitchen. The meat lovers omelette is prepared pillow style with a nice portion of meats and cheese and is very good. The 12 grain toast is good and the coffee is great. The server was friendly and prompt. She also did the follow-up on the entree and round 2 on coffee.

Visited this morning for the first time. Place was packed. Had to do a line. Kitchen only had two cooks. I was afraid it was not going to be pleasant but only waited 15 to 20 minutes for a table. Ordered the Nutella French Toast and the Florentine Eggs Benedict. Food was served really fast. We were impressed as the place was packed. The quakity of the food was also very good. Service was nice as well. The only thing I didnt like was the coffee. It was like warm water with a soft coffee flavor. Overall, good experience.

A really nice place. COVID safe with an outside waiting line with very attentive staff! The food was good having the standard eggs, toast, sausage and fruit. The fruit was fresh! Most importantly the staff was very nice. Would definitely come back when i am in the area!

Small town feel in busy area. Eggs Benedict w/ Lobster, Chicken and Biscuts is what was chosen at our meal. It was a tough choice cause everything looked good. Cant wait to go back. Clean and conscientious.

Very busy eatery! I can see why...the breakfast, bar none, is the best Ive ever eaten at a restaurant. The service people were excellent! During this pandemic, they know what to do. Currently, it is outside dining only. Expect a long wait, especially if you have 4 to 6 in your party. I would have given 6 stars if I could!

There was a line, but moved pretty quickly. I gave Kens 4 stars because the food was very good, but not something that was spectacular to wait in line 4 in the rain. The decor was causal and had some older charm.

A hidden gem. Theres literally no way to go wrong here. Everything is top-quality. Try to arrive early, because lines out the door can stretch a good 30 feet. Waiters and waitresses were all very attentive and always smiling. This place has an undeniable charm to it that truly makes it special.

My husband, 2yr old daughter and I visited Kens Corner for the first time on a Sunday. We didnt realize it was daylight savings, therefore, ended up there late in the morning. We waited about 30 minutes before being seated.It was very busy and waitresses and bussers worked really fast. The wait was worth it!I ordered the chicken and pesto omelet which I LOVED! & WILL HAVE AGAIN. My husband had the guacamole omelet and he enjoyed it also.Karen was our waitress and she was very nice and attentive. Everyone that worked around us was pleasant and friendly with their guests. I would come again but definitely earlier and will try other items on the menu. Great job at Kens Corner!

Absolutely delicious!! Even on a weekend morning when they are bursting with customers, the wait seems to go quickly and it is ever so worth it! The food is fantastic, service was great, and an overall awesome breakfast spot. Very memorable! Looking forward to going back soon.

We had a great breakfast at Kens. They have an extensive breakfast menu. I had Coconut French Toast along with eggs and kielbasa and it was delicious, everything tasted fresh. Our waitress was very friendly, courteous and super efficient. But they do have a sign indicating that they get very busy after 9am which was about they time that we left and they had a small line already and people were looking for parking spaces.

Ranges from a 10-20 minute weight but the line moves fast. Great hosts all around, happy and polite.The only thing better is the food. Always loves the shaved steak omelet and their nutella French toast.Highly recommended!

Pretty good food. Great gluten free bread with multiple options and friendly staff. Lots of parking. We went on a holiday weekend and it was about an hour wait to get a table, which isnt a huge deal since it was nice weather, but it was probably also the patio being closed. One thing that bothered me is its a family type place and theres a sign in the bathroom warning people not to use the dresser as a changing table for safety reasons... They could replace the dresser with a changing table and still store their tissues and air freshener on a shelf or something underneath. Seems dismissive to put up a sign rather than be accommodating when its so easy.

Kens Corner was a fantastic find this morning. Friendly, down-to-earth wait staff, quick service, fair prices, and best of all...fantastic breakfast food! Not many restaurants cook my eggs to my liking, but Kens Corner cooked them perfectly. Definitely recommend whether youre dining on your own or with your family.

Ate here for the first time after leaving IHop after receiving terrible service, and I couldnt be happier I ended up here. The staff was super friendly and excellent with our two young children. To top it off their Lobster Benedict was probably the best breakfast Ive ever had!!! Definitely recommend this place!

We always enjoy our meals here and today was no different. We went for breakfast. Always unique specials to choose from. I had the Nutella Stuffed French Toast with Strawberries and Whipped Cream. Delicious! Very generous portion sizes. Highly recommend.

By far the best place for breakfast in the greater Hartford area. Kens is like home there staff is welcoming and kind from the moment you walk in the door.. and the food oh my goodness so delicious!! They have different flavor pancakes and waffles!! So excited to try their omelet next time I go!!!

Great breakfast! Ive been coming here for years and the food never disappoints. The menu has an abundant amount of choices and if youre looking for something else, look for the specials board. There is always a ton of choices. If you see a line, wait, never more than a 10-15 minute wait and the waitstaff is always friendly and attentive.

Great service, pancakes, eggs, bacon, and a breakfast sandwich were all super! Prices are good, and the staff was really nice! Definitely a go to on my list! Thanks guys and gals at Kens Corner!!

Nice place, good food, large portions and superb service. I was in the minority within our group, but I thought the only negative was the prices were a bit more than I expected. All in all a very good dining experience!

This place is worth the wait! Coffee was excellent - not bitter or burnt like most diners and the food was well cooked. The home fries are to die for and the Veggie Benedict​ was just perfect. Although there was a long line, they were very organized and kept it moving quickly. Our server was very friendly. Only downside is that you feel a little rushed because the line is out the door at all times.

A friend of mine always talked about going to Kens for breakfast. Today we finally had a chance to go and I was impressed!! It has a great mom and pop kind of feel with excellent service and great tasting food!! I would recommend this place to anyone!
