Every year Sri Pyditalli goddess festival will happen in the month of October. Goddes Pydimamba is very powerful and called as Uttaraandhra Velukolpu. Every year after Dussera Sri Pydimamba Sirimanu utsav will happen. This is the biggest festival in Vizianagaram district. There are 2 temples are for Sri Pydimamba. 1 is located at opposite to Railway Station. It is called Mothers house of the goddess and the main temple is located at 3 lamps junction.it is called as in laws house.

Sri Pydithalli Ammavari temple is in Vizianagaram and was built in 18th century, puranas says, the goddess Pydimamba who belonged to the Gajapati dynasty and she was the sister of king Vijaya Rama Raju. In 1756, the Vizianagaram king faced continuos battle with bobbili king. Then the French army general helped Vijayaramaraju to attack Bobbili on 23rd January 1757.
