We have consulted Vasan for my moms Cataract treatment. She is a very nervous woman who is scared of hospitals and surgeries. Vasan staff has taken extreme care of her and made her feel very comfortable throughout the entire process and councellor Ms. Divya has been soo helpful all through.. I have a terrible experience on visiting VASAN at Visakhapatnam.My first encounter is with the person in the reception. They have charged me 4000 INR for all the tests related to LASIK and they did not even provide me with a receipt for it. Next the person who was checking my previous prescription and doing eye test was holding the center of my glasses with her thumb finger leaving her finger prints all over the glass. Thereafter I was taken to 1st or 2nd floor for checking Corneal thickness. I couldnt widen my eyes and the woman who is trying to capture it is loosing patience.Next they took me for some test where they placed something in my eyes (I think this is to check dryness) and she is taking some recordings. Upon asking what this test is for, she answered this is to check power of my eyes. I have no clue how power is determined on placing something in my eyes. Then a person in the reception came and started making conversation and told you have good corneal thickness and you are suitable for PRK. (I have studied in google that a person with good corneal thickness is suitable for lasik and someone with lower thickness is suitable for PRK). Thereafter after making me wait for 30 minutes, I just lost my patience and asked how long would it take to see the doctor, they answered Doctor is not in the hospital and he is somewhere else performing a surgery.So they texted my reports on whats app and they are expecting a reply soon. Upon hearing this, I really lost it and left the place with my reports.My sister got her lasik done in VASAN Vijayawada and the experience was very smooth and few of my friends got their lasik done in Hyderabad Vasan. All of them were positive reviews.On hearing these, I visited Vasan in visakhapatnam and ended up with such a terrible experience.

Worst service provided , completely irritating

Its better to go to MAXIVISION eye care or VISAKHA eye hospital than VASAN eye care hospital in Visakhapatnam because adequate equipment is not available here in vasan and they will take you to Vijayawada for most of the surgeries and also the availability of doctors is also another issue.

Very bad experience. Operation is not done successfully. My father had cataract surgery by Dr.ramesh Babu bobbili. He said everything was fine. But my father didnt get vision even after surgery. I took high package with Alcon company lens.. but no use. I will better suggest you go to Vishaka eye hospital.

I had a very bad experience today. They dont accept card payment and I think they dont pay GST because in my bill of OCT (an eye test) they didnt mention any GST data for the 2500 rupees they charged me.

I wanted to get my sister eyes checked and walked in to this place. The outlooks of the hospital are really good but dont get decieved by the looks..the doctors in this hospital dont have punctuality at all. I was told to come by 2pm and i was there by few mins delay and took the appointment and then the girl in the reception said to take a seat and fill the form and charged the fees and made us wait for a good 1 hour time untill we went up to the receptionist to ask what was the status and then at 3pm they said they doc is on the way and will be here in 10 min which the doc eventually came at 4:30 pm which is absoultly waste of 3hrs time with lack of information and in this 3 hrs of waiting meanwhile this is wat i observed ..that the lobby area is not clean enough and the staff yells as if they are on street and they talk their personals soo loud in the reception that i felt like as if i was in a railway station. Regarding the treatment the doc was friendly enough and heard our concerns. One star is only for the treatment. Hope atleast the staff should understand that there are alot other to consider to get good name in this era. Cheers.

There are no experienced people here and they just keep you waiting for no reason ... A very bad experience ... It will take full day just for a general eye check up ... I do not recommend anyone to go here

They dont have atleast one swiping machine to pay the bill and entry fee. I havent felt free here. Full suffocation. No AC. Getting bad smell.
