The hotel is situated right up the hill overlooking the Rushikonda Beach. The view from the Sea-facing rooms of this hotel is magnificent and very beautiful! That being said I found no other reason to like this hotel. Even the most expensive rooms are poorly maintained and the staff is very reluctant to work or help you. Also, the restaurant offers very limited food options.

Only for the views and the liveliness that you feel at this place! What an amazing place to be staying at! The food, the service may be mediocre but the views more than makeup for it! Go stay there, visit the beach, take beautiful photos and enjoy the general liveliness of this place! Rushikonda beach is a stone throw away and has some good restaurants and things to do

Haritha resorts were best and maintained by AP tourism. The price will be low compared to private resorts. You can have best view of Rushikonda beach and above the hill can give best sunrise glimpse. A perfect way to explore tourism in vizag. Within the city limits, availability of vehicles everything under best moderate prices.

Amazing place to see the entire sea shore. It’s the only place. U can find Novotel, gateway etc but none hotels can not offer u such type view. Just check it out. But their restaurant not upto the mark. Here u can avail many other options for that

Pricey for the services provided and overall cleaniness. Amazing location and views. However, the property is not clean. We had to call multiple times for basic amenities like pillows and blankets. Tv in room did not work. For premium pricing, the room was like a dharmashala room.Pros -Amazing location. And view of Rushikonda beach. Close proximity to multiple eateries to suit taste.

Rooms are extremely reasonable considering the view that it offers. Friday, saturday and Sunday the charges are increased. I would personally suggest an AC delux room. (I have stayed in both delux as well as executive room). The view will simply make your day. People are cooperative. One problem is that as its located in rushikonda beach so transportation is a major problem. Its preferable that you have your own vehicle or rent a bike from nearby shop. Bike rentals near rushikonda is very limited so u have to book well in advanced. The other options are you take a car with driver for local sight seeing which will cost 2k a day from the resort itself.Now talking about food... Haritha has some really nice biryani and fish recipes. As i travelled during bird flu so dint have chicken. Overall i loved this place. Must visit.

The hill top view from the resort is just mind blowing. For booking youll have to plan in advance.

Excellent Beach View Rooms and Ok kind ok food

We booked AC Deluxe room. This is important as we dont really see specific images of room type in APTDC website. The room we booked had Sea view, however, it didnt have any balcony. It had a window which you can open for ventilation.+ Staircase (~100 stairs) from resort leading to rushikonda beach which is one of the best beaches in Vizag+ Nominal prices even during the new year+ Seaview+ Spacious bathroom and room+ Dressing table+ Hindi channels on cable+ You can order food from zomato- Although rooms were clean, bedsheets had stains- Stairs everywhere ( reception/ room / even to washroom from the room)- Food wasnt great, it didnt have variety and restaurant had very strict timing hence we explored the option of zomato

The place is located at a walkable distance to Rushikonda Beach which apparently is one of the cleanest beaches of Visakhapatnam. The resort itself is decent enough giving the occupants a good view of the beach wherein you can enjoy the sunrise from the room itself. However, coming to the staff behavior, I was utterly dissapointed as they are very careless. No cctv cameras around the resort which is why someone managed to steal my auxiliary lights which were fitted to my vehicle and the authorities didnt do a thing. Very disappointed.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic! Very well maintained by Andhra Pradesh Government !!The view from the balcony is just fabulous, images updated.. However, language might be a small barrier, though its manageable I would say!Booked online via AP tourism website.. Very nice experience altogether!

This is the view the hotel provides!!About the rooms and services.. i am a lover of south Indian foods so the complementary breakfast was yum.. and i loved the restaurant food though i did read some nasty comments on this but i loved it.. its healthy less oily tasty and easy to digest.. but a bit of warning the menu is a bit misguiding so what i did most of the time is id ask the person serving what i want and tell them to suggest a dish 🤪. That worked well for me. About the rooms they r clean well maintained but 1bad thing n No electric Kettle.. I really wish to see it the next time i visit..

Good facilities with nice view of Rushikonda beach. Very neatly maintained. A battery operated car is available at specific frequency to take people staying in the resort to the beach and back. This is helpful because the distance is long and can be quite tiresome during middle of the day when temperature and humidity are high

One of the best resort in Vizag. If you want peace and enjoying the sea view, this is the place for you.Service: excellent service without any issue. Every day your room will be cleaned and provide 2 litters sealed water. Staffs are good and well behaved.Room: We have booked 1 standard and 1 deluxe ac double bedrooms. Both the rooms are cleaned. The bed is good. Toilets are cleaned. Standard room is a little bit smaller than deluxe room and that is the only difference. Both the rooms are using the same balcony.Foods: In the complimentary breakfast, mostly south Indian food is served. Food quality and quantity are delicious. You will also enjoy some alcohol in a bar/restaurant.Overall, the place is great. I should recommend this place to my friends and family.

The hospitality is really really bad. The manager, host, service boy all arent so welcoming. I felt like I was living in their private property upon requsting. I booked at this place solely for writing script for my next project with this 180° beach view. But my room view wasnt good enough. And I requested for a change of room with a better view. Inspite for many rooms available I wasnt offered one, so I left the resorts that evening informing reception over a phone call & booked a perfect room in Taj gateway. They were very good and receiving, also recommended a room that I loved. Am not complaining about all Haritha. Staff in Araku were minimal but very good. Its only about this particular resort. Come on!! APTDC we travel for such a long distances inspite of all these covid situations, all we expect is a welcoming smile. Please be gentle towards the guests and listen to thier needs. You have great tourist attracting locations. Please be KIND🙏🏼.

Resort is very good but can be much better. The service is bit slower. Also the washrooms could be better maintained. However, with a seaview and friends around you, this place is better than anything else 😀

The hotel location is great. It might be located little bit far from rk beach but the view from the hotel is exceptional. The food and staffs behaviour is also commendable. Definitely will recommend to others. We have stayed in Executive room , it is quite spacious and it has also balcony from where you can sit and relax. They do provide all kind of car for local and Araku sightseeing. I am adding some pics of the hotel and the view from the hotel hope it will be helpful to others.

Fabulous view from the balcony of AC executive rooms. Staff behavior is not bad. But the food they serve will depend on their own time. You can even dont get tea after 10.30 am.

A very good resort with awesome location right on the Rushikonda beach. The beach is hardly 100 steps away. All cottages are sea facing from balcony and even from room windows. Its very clean, staff is very courteous. They have restaurants which has nice and tasty food options; I found it reasonably priced. There is a bar also which is good. Though the resort is far from City but its worth given the mesmerizing experience that it provides. They have multiple room options from mid to high range budget but its worth a stay.

Right on the beach on Rushikonda hill with amazing view of the Bay of Bengal.Mid range affordable and spacious facility with supportive staff.Rooms could be much better maintained, especially rest rooms.All Rooms are air conditioned and have hot water facility.In House Restaurant is having a decent spread and palatable quality.Complimentary breakfast comes with a limited spread but kind of sufficient to start your day.Sight seeing can be little far off and high economically if hiring a cab..

Very poor maintenance and not worth for the price.

Beach view is the main asset of this resort. Every room has a beach view, but when you for deluxe rooms, you need to step out to balcony for the beach view. Deluxe rooms are provided with a wide window with beach view. Staff are good. Restaurant is also well maintained. Even though it is not far from the city Ola cabs are available for city tour. Very good place to stay is vizag.

3 stars for the VIEWS and staff behaviour which was very good right from the reception. Resort needs attention towards interior renovation. It actually have the potential to become one of the best due to its proximity to the beach.

Resort is good.Rooms are nice with great sea view.But the restaurant should be mentioned specially because food quality and taste wise was good, but the quantity they give you is horrible. The food we order for two adults will only be sufficient for one. That much small quantity they are providing for the high price compared to other restaurants else where in the city. Being a Govt. Organised resort this is not correct.

Positives: Great Location. As mentioned Beach view. (Amazing) .Great Room Service and Complimentary Breakfast is also quite good. Good and humble workers.Negatives: Too much cost for those rooms . As the rooms are not well maintained and not upto the mark & Bathrooms are unclean.Also, Check in time should be 10 and check out should be 9 (As we waited for an hour to get our room).

Good restaurant, On hill a scenic view of the sea from the restaurant will fill your stomach. If this was suppose to be rated for its scenic beauty it would have got 5 rating. Good south Indian food. Other foods are ok. Well maintained. Humble staffs. Communication of staffs in Hindi and English is poor. Over all a good place to have your lunch.

Mind blowing, fantabulous, the best place to be when you are around Visakhapatnam. Sure to rejuvenate your senses and taste buds without burning a hole in your pocket. Very courteous and well trained workforce to look after your stay.

Awesome views. I am sharing some photos , you will love. Every room here has a perfect view of Rushikonda beach. However the restaurant is not good . Room service in the resort is good. There are car service and auto both available with them.

The position of Haritha resort at Rushikonda is great. From the balcony of the executive room of Haritha resort I can have the great view of the Bay of Bengal. The glimpse of the distant Eastern Ghats as well as the beach road, all are charming. The rooms are good though it should be more clean. The gadgets inside room are all working but should be taken care a little bit. The swinging action of the AC machine inside our room is not working. The bathroom is fitted with amenities like commode, geyser etc but it is narrow and should be more clean.

Excellent place to stay if you are in Vizag. Dont miss it. Rooms are very spacious with balcony having Sea view. You can walk down to the beach. Good food in restaurant. 24 hours service.

A place where one can view both the sea and hills together. Situated nrar Rushikonda sea beach Haritha Resort has one of the most scenic beauty with hills at the back and sea at the front. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is a great place to stay. Food options are not much but there is a restaurant near to the hotel which is multi cuisine and you can try there once.

Fantastic stay. Really awesome.This can be the best place to stay at Vizag( Rushikonda beach).The room was spacious and absolutely clean and with all facilities for an amazing stay including a balcony where one could have a vivid view of the beach . The hotel is just in front of the beach, itself being situated on the hills. The food at the restaurant was quite commendable and one could view the pleasant sea while eating.

Beautiful location at hilltop on rishikonda beach. Room was big and functional. Bathroom was clean but water leakage from tap. Beautiful Sea view from common balcony. Service was not so prompt and I miss the complementary breakfast. Overall Its a lovely experience to staying here.

The rooms are splendid. They have two types- small cottages which cost around 2100 and apartments which cost around 2800. All rooms have an excellent view. The restaurant is a big disappointment. All their dishes taste the same! Came here in January, 2014. Come here for the rooms, but I recommend that you dine somewhere else.

Please dont think other option book this hotel without checking other option it will be your right choice.All the room are sea view rooms and all the felicities are available at this hotel also the Food quality is good.Morning sunrise view from your cottage balcony is awesome but the food is very costly.

Staff there create a warm and cosy atmosphere. You get the beach view from the balcony. There is reasonable space for vehicle parking. They also have a bar of their own.

Service is poor. Restaurant is far from rooms. No room service for breakfast. Dinner and lunch one can avail room service by paying 10% extra and tips for every service. Best part is its location.

In my opinion take standard or deluxe room to get perfect view. Only drawback is its bathroom which has 4-5 steps. It makes the room more beautiful but for old age persons its not good. Another drawback is every workers are seeking for tips. Pay on restaurant by using ATM there to avoid tips.

One of the most beautiful places to stay in vizag.Being a little outside the prime City area and thoughrofare, gives it that serene feel.The locality is awesome, right on the top of hill overlooking the magnificent crescent shape Rushikonda beach.The rooms have been recently renovated and do give a premium feel, although it being a Govt. property. A must stay for anyone visiting vizag to make your trip a memorable one.
