It has a library with varied book collection on literature, philosophy, religious ,story books for kids etc. visitors can sit on the comfortable bench seating available in the large hall to read the library books.You can bring your own books to study for exams . The seating is comfortable with large tables ,writing pads, bag storage shelf and sufficient lights and fans .There is drinking water and toilet facilities.The library and book stall have separate timings with Monday closed for both.A doll exhibition and ashram are also there in the campus .

Peaceful and Study Environment

The exhibition on the life of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda is wonderful. A must visit place for all.

Lots of literature on Indian philosophy and on Ramakrishna mission are ready for selling. Good exhibition on Ramakrishna and Vivekanandas life present in upstairs, one monk are present to talk with you on the science and consciousness according to Vedanta, behind this library the temple and ashram are there. So it is a library cum book stall cum exhibition centre, enhance your spiritual power by regular visit. Mind it book stall and library have separate trimmings. Monday closed.

Now, this is a place that screams for a renovation.Badly ventilated, decaying furniture, a pitiful security system, and the incessant noise from the Beach road blasts its way into the chambers through the open doors making the place feel not so library-ish.I adore the collection though, there are a wide variety of books ranging from theological/philosophical ones to psychiatry/medical sciences/ to Fiction and other non-fiction varieties.The books are old though and in a bad rotten condition, which I can personally forgive for that gives it a quaint feel, but others wont.I have to give it a 2 just for the sake of lack of bad reviews.
