This is one entry point for Kailash Giri, which is a beautiful tourist attraction. This place is also the entry of VMRDA walking track. Meat slaughter house which was adjacent to it is moved out of City. Now this place is calm and serene. People do come in the morning and evening for walking. Once you trek this place one can have a beautiful view of the developing city, health city and overall view of eastern ghats.

This is a nice climb up the stairs. It may seem that it is a very long staircase to the top of the hill, but come on.. this hill is not a mountain. An average person might only take about 2 stops in the middle for a quick minute or 2 rest for rehydrating (carry a small water bottle or packet) and clicking some nice pictures. Or those adventurous like me would want to climb up the few trees that are beautifully coming very low over the stairs. Its irresistible not to touch them, sit on them or may climb a few. Be careful though. At some places during the climb, therell be a short muddy pathway thatll take you to get a nicer view of the city below. PLEASE, do not litter like other have done foolishly. Its such a pretty place. Lets keep it pretty. Dont write anything anywhere. Think about what would kids think and learn after seeing all the writings everywhere! If youre so good in writing, write a good book or do well in your exams, so you and the other person whos name you plan to write on the hill do well in life.At the top there is a canteen in the. Shape of a Giant Pineapple. Should have toilets too. There is one toilet near the highway entrance for the stairs.There is no fee for entry for the staircase or the health arena. Timings if I remember correctly were from 5:30am to 8:30 am. And dont remember evening timings. There was a board and a guard at the entrance.Once you reach the top, you get to see a beautifully maintained garden, roads, pathways. Rest of it, you should go and explore. Have fun. Stay fit and be responsible. Keep it clean. :)

Foot way is long but we can see pleasant things while walking and shootouts

Best place to enjoy the scenic view of the whole city of Visakhapatnam. But this is not that good in comparison with evening view from Simachalam Temple. You can enjoy walking in the steps in groups. There is also a rope way to go to the top and then walk towards the T point

A place to visit in Vishakhapatanam. Go for the train ride at hill top. There is a rope way at hilltop. You can have a good view of city and the beaches.

Very pleasant step walk way. Its not too hectic to climb. It takes approximately 30 minutes to climb the hill. Sceneries are very eye catching in the way. A very nice place for lovers.

Previously there is a way to kailasagiri through steps but now it got modified as health park, and it is a very nice place for morning walk or cycling or jogging with natural air and there u can enjoy the cool morning weather.
