Nice places. But need maintenance. And road is also rough when we are close to reach the dam. Say 4/5 km road near dam is very narrow,crowded and rough. Good as a half day picnic for Mumbai and Thane people.

Best place to visit for nature lovers. Peaceful, green and clean place. Its entrance has a bad surrounding but once you reach inside its all nature. There are no gates and no entry fees. The locals are really helpful. You can go fishing with them and they will also help you roam around. Its quite a good place to hangout. We can go there from two routes ones from Nalasopara east and the other ones from virar east. If you are in Nsp the nsp east route is easy and fast and closer. If you are in virar the virars route is near. You must visit this place atleast once.

This dam required attention of local body. It can be made more deep with making RCC wall that can store more water. As currently it dries up by December. Lets hope for the best.

Good to go place for nature lovers. Group gatherings are easily found here. Calm place, surrounded by mountains. Near by small Waterfall is also there. Ahead of dam Lord Shankaras temple is there, it takes 10 min walk from dam entrance.

This place is awesome to visit ... youll see a great greenery there and water ......this place is soo big that u cant explore in just a one day .... visit in rainy season for good experience or in a winter. ..but in a summer the water evaporates and but then too is looks beautiful there such a big hills and that hills Shadow in fall in water it is awesome....it is good place to visit with your family and friends...not for couples bcoz it is crowded area....also there are shops from which you can buy water bottle snaks and all the things which you want

Phoolpada dam is in Virar East and is within 2 kms from Virar station. Share autos are available from station to dam which cost only 10 rupee a seat.The dam is full of water when it rains and remains within its full capacity till September. Rainy and winter are the best months to visit this place. No restrictions to see and access the dam. Open 24 by 7.It is hardly 10 minutes away from Jivdani Mata mandir by walk. In summar dam doesnt have any water and its absolutely dry. Cricket fans are all-over the place on the dam ground. However a morning and evening walk is best 365 days a year.

Phool dam is located in east side of Virar. for Phoolpad VVMT buses its the last stop. Auto rickshaw also available from virar east. Phool pada dam is small water reservoir. Its very beautiful here during mansoon because of lush greenery and lake. temple of godess Jivdani is located on one side and Temple of godess Bharonda Devi is located on other side. In mansoon we can found small water streams and waterfalls nearby. Temple of God Mahadeva located in Papad khind is near by Phoolpada dam.

This dam is situated at Phoolpada, Virar East. Dam supplies water to Phoolpada area. This Dam is surrounded by jungle. It is beautiful in Monsoon. Best for one day picnic or short trail. People come here for walk and exercise at morning and evening.Municipal corporation swimming pool is just near this dam. You can visit Baronda Devi Temple after short walk, it is located other side of dam. Walk from dam to temple will give you the experience of traditional village life. You can also drive towards the temple if dam is not overflows. You can also see the famous Jivdani Temple of Virar.If you are interested in Bio diversity or plantation or in Photography then Late Uttamrao Patil Bio Diversity Park is for you. it is also located other side of dam. There is also one old Mahadeva Temple. The temple and Bio Diversity Park is surrounded by dark forest and small waterfall. All this places are hidden gem of Virar.
