All office near by and food counter is also available.you can find all trains comes from Surendranagar and another from ahmedabad they all are stop at this railway station. so this junction is middle between Surendranagar and ahmedabad railway station. Now there is double track electric lines available. So no another crossing train lane comes to your way to late your journey.

Viramgam junction railway station is one of the best station in mehshana district. It is very clean. All of the trains are holding in this station. Some train starts from this station like viramgam okha fast passenger, viramgam valsad fast passenger etc. It is the junction which connects the ahmedabad route and mehshana route. In this station one waiting room is available for refreshment and bath. In the Viramgam station 2 foot over bridge is connected to all of the platforms like 1, 2 & 3, 4 & 5, etc. In this station some refreshing store like cold rinks store, snacks store, etc. are available. No. of drinking water plant are shown in station. Especially on platform no. 1 half of the platform is connected to charging point, so you can easily charge your mobile phone or laptop. It is nice to see in this station. In the station good and clean washrooms are available at the end and middle of the all platforms. Generally mostly trains are arriving on platform no. 1, 2, and 3 but sometimes some trains like goods trains or petrol trains are arriving on platform no. 4 and 5. Overall nice station, I personally like it.

Viramgam railways station is a very busy station as it is the last station before Ahmedabad from Junagadh, Rajkot and Jamnagar, and first station after Ahmedabad and Mehsana.It is junction where connecting lines from Mehsana, Rajkot and Ahmedabad so that this is the station where you can get train for every area. Hot snacks are also sell by local seller. Many shop is their where passenger can purchase some food items, package water bottle for time pass in train.Station is huge contains 5 platform and 8 railway tracks are available so that crossing of many train can be done here. Railway station has installed Google railwire also known as Google station provide free internet service for 30 minutes by simple registration process person have to submit his mobile number to connect the WiFi. Station is clean and maintained so that passenger can enjoy and take rest for their trains.Only one problem their too many mosquitoes at night time and it is harmful.

A Very neat and tidy and clean station, amazing to see many imp. Trains halt here. Good for the Development of this small city. Sankheswar is the Jain Tirth for which People get down at this station and there are taxis in form of Jeeps, Sumo, Force, etc which take you to that place and various other places also at minimum rate. Be it 2am in night and 2pm in afternoon taxis are made available easily.

Viramgam is very beautiful station near Rajkot. Now i have seen that electric cables work done at viramgam station so may be in few year saurashtra gets electrics Engin train. Viramgam is a Junction one of saurashtra region.

Food quality is very poor. Please take care before purchasing any food from vendors. Try to purchase only packed food. It is junction so many times your train will hault for long time.

A normal railway station with very basic amenities. The good part is, food is available on station even at wee hours of the night. If you reach late, auto and taxi wala will ask for exorbitant fare. You can rather reach the bus station which is very nearby and take public transportation from there to save money. I paid close to Rs. 500 to reach Nal sarovar bird sanctuary, which is the speciality of this place.

Caterers are not good. Found an insect in the yeast bread , in vada-pav bought from a stall in platform no. 1. An improvement in the food quality would surely make people trust more on railways food!
