Amazing place. Got the famous Kondapalli dancing doll from here. They painted the doll another coat in a day for me! Very friendly locals. Please buy from locals and if possible dont bargain. Vocal for local!

Happened to visit this place as I saw a direction board in Vijayawada stating GI tagged toys. Out of curiosity visited the place.Traditional toys made of soft wood. Very good toys with bright colours. The craftsmanship was awesome. Prices were above nominal.02 sales people were there. Their knowledge on products are good. But both can speak only vernacular - Telugu.The shop accepts credit cards. They give standard discount of 10% on the rarest mentioned. People who keep kolu at home must visit if you happen to go to Vijayawada

We saw few other near by stores as well, but the variety and prices of this store are the best in that area. They offer about 10% discount for big purchases. Either cash payments or UPI payment using Paytm are accepted here. The people in the store are very helpful in guiding us with right toys for selection in patient manner

Kondapalli Toys are world-famous toys made by the craftsmen of kondapalli village. It is a traditional craft made out of endangered tellaponiki wood which is very light and can easily be carved. Kondapalli bomallu(doll) is also a Registered GI(geographical Indicator) craft in Andhra Pradesh, India.

This is a good place for people who love toys and that too traditional toys of andhra pradesh. The rustic village toys are made beautifully and the shops offer a good experience of various toys. The place just adjacent to ibrahimpatnam near vijayawada. This place probably could be taken better care by the government and can be promoted well. But that is not the case. It just looks like any other small town place because of this . Overall a great place for toy lovers but not well maontained.

The fort itself is more of a well polished (after refurbishment museum,not a raw fort....The drive there , the Ghat road deserves a 5 star!Highly recommended to take you 2 wheeler and go for a ride on that road(be careful LOTS of blind curves)

This is art and tradition!!!! The town of Kondapalli is a incredible piece of history that we can still experience. The art is incredible and handmade. Its doesnt get more authentic than this. You literally walk into a families home to buy the toys and its a fascinating window into their world. This is so underappreciated I hope we can realize the true value of we have right here in this tiny town outside Vijayawada. This needs to be shared with the world. For yall Brooklyn hipsters this is the kind of art you should have

This store has a ver extensive selection of Kondapalli toys.We would’ve spent at least over an hour just looking at the toys.The figures are mainly of mythology, animals, birds, bullock carts etc., and they say the most notable one is Dasavataram but we found the bullock cart to be more intriguing.Oh and the shop owner does entertain bargaining..
