Good Place for morning walks, running and physical activities etc.Gym, Cricket, tennis , football, yoga and few other trainings are provided.A new walking/running track is being prepared inside.Good parking facility, and more over its a public place and free for all. (Trainings are chargeable).*Note: Dont expect international/indian metro cities stadium atmosphere or facilities here. (Cricket enthusiasts)Thank you.

Stadium is nice, but not useful for the purposes.

One and only outdoor stadium in Vijayawada which has all facilities of sports. It has courts for Volley ball, basket ball, tennis, badminton, cricket. Separate area for yoga, gymnastics. Well trained govt coaches are available. Earlier it was a very good cricket ground even for international cricket matches, but now it is not maintained well.

I think one of the best stadium in andhra pradesh... But now worse... Worst , no one take responsibility

Ground is well maintained. It is good place for running, jogging and walking. People can also play cricket and other sports after taking permission from the authorities. There is lighting available in the evening time. There is yoga club, walkers club and other clubs for various interest groups. Various government events and gathering also happen here from time to time.

Indira Gandhi muncipal stadium very famous to play all types of games and yoga, walking and excercises. This is midle of the city and very famous place in Vijayawada. And this place most Hotspot IFor the midnight food court area. Mainly people comes for midnight roaming on streets and eating food biryani,dosa, tiffin,faloodas, and all verifies if chicken items....

Attended a religious function. Appearing to be a good place. Unless I attend sports events it is not correct to comment on stadium.

Stadium seems good but I dont think it is getting maintained in sense of cleaning regularly...To the city like Vijayawada it is the only stadium for daily activities. If the stadium and surroundings getting cleaned properly and neatly it would be great

I have been to stadium a countless times and few times I have gone to watch the parades in Indhira gandhi stadiun its wonderful to see the parades and many marches and speeches and many cultural programs and the staff provide free water bottles , juice , biscuits that day and we can have a lots of enjoyment , but when I went with my school wearing a green dress being a part of bottom colour of Indian flag that time we stayed there for 4 hrs , it was very boing that time , hahaha , but its good to see all the parades and all , thankyou

It may be a superb stadium in past.. only one international OD conducted in 2002. But now it is just a ground.. local people come for running & jogging early in the morning.. Classes for yoga, Boxing, cricket, hockey & other sports were conducting by respective coaches.. may be yearly once are twice Army Requirement rally will be held.. they is a gym too but no proper equipment as per my observation..After 10:00PM outside the stadium all fast food & Street food are available till 2:00AM have try if u vist this area..

A only Stadium nearby my house.The stadium is good for training Activities like Cricket.. Basketball.. Judo..Boxing..Karate.Zymnastics..Yoga.. Power Lifting... Tennis..Kabbadi.. Volley ball and other Games. The zym fees in Stadium is 1200/- yearly. Many people Come here for Walking.. Jogging..mornings and evenings. But all are ok..Only some things are bad in Stadium..The Maintenance of Stadium.. No proper Maintenance.. No proper public toilets..No.cleanliness..

Great place to go for a morning jog. The stadium is situated at the core of the city. Although it is not a big stadium, when compares to those of Hyderabad, Chennai and all, it is fine one.

Nice for jogging and having fresh over their.. We can also join our family kids to play the games like foot ball and volleyball.. And indoor games.. To over all its a best to have nice evening..

Its good Stadium.... i attend for Solid waste management, Spl Guest is Honorable CM Chandra Babu Reddy kaaru & SINDHU. I enjoyed Stadium environment.Only one prblm is rest rooms & rain water fully covered in at the time of prgm.

IGM Indira Gandhi Stadium is the only biggest stadium and once upon ranji trophy cricket matches held in this stadium. Now it got a commercial complex around the stadium and became the busiest center in the city. It has gym volleyball and kabadi and many sports divisions in the main building. It has big gallery for viewers.

Best place for food after 10 PM in Vijayawada. Had some chicken starters here and they are very juicy and fresh.The Shawarma here is amazing. I was skeptical when he added nachos in it but they added the crunch and made shawarma amazing. To close it we had Caramel faluda and it is awesome. At each layer of faluda the taste has elevated and ticked the taste buds.Overall simply amazing experience with the family.

Stadium which once hosted an one day international cricket match had now became an active venue for political meetings. Sad!

From the year 2008-2015 I was a regular visitor there..I used to play volleyball..During summer holiday usually they will keep camps for most of the games to enhance skill and strength..I attended one also for span of one month..Theres a volley ball academy..with complete coaching,support staff.. accommodation and food for players also..Still sometimes I will go to refresh my past memories
