Very welcoming and friendly personnel. It’s so refreshing when you are visiting from another country and the attender shows interest in where you are visiting from. Above all this, the food was delicious. As soon as the food arrived, we dived in and I forgot to take pics of our menu. But we had the chicken tikka masala and chicken curry.

Its OK. The owner/main waiter while not particularly unfriendly is grumpy and gives the impression clients bother him. The food, while good, is overpriced as mentioned in several of the other comments. Four pieces of chicken on a few salad leaves with cucumbers, tomatoes and a hand full of rice and a yoghurt dip in a minuscule side bowl for 13.90 is rather expensive

Great restaurant, friendly staff, excellent food. Not that “Medium” spicy can also be very spicy, depending on the plate (lamb in our case). Great Naan and nice mango lassi.

Very delicious food, everybody in the group was happy with their orders.Ambient is nice and I have to say the toilet very clean.The only reason why Im giving it a 4 are the waitors. They were nice and friendly, but didnt write down our orders (there was 6 of us) so they kept forgetting stuff and then we had to wait extra for food that was forgotten.

Amazing and authentic food and very friendly stuff. No doubt its the best Indian restaurant in Vienna. We keep on coming back when visiting Vienna.

We had starter with samosa and then we had hot delicious murgh karahi with rice and freshly cooked naan. After dinner, they served us hot masala tea with garlic fragrance and we just loved it. Absolutely worth visiting. Each and everything was amazing. The guy who serve the food was very polite and professional. I recommend to every one 👍

Ordered 5 meals. Rice was not included even though the website said so. Customer service was not helpful.

The food was good, and the owner was very much there in person. Very cute ambiance, and well setup for a couple’s night out, our a group of family meal. The location is in the center of a residential district, but locals seem love the food as well. The owner loves cooking, and watches over which keeps the quality up. The biryani was not legitimate Pakistani biryani, but was good. The Chicken Karachi was like Jalfrezi, but did taste good as well.

Delicious food, excellent service.We were staying locally and maps suggested this place, absolutely wonderful.Chilled atmosphere, no music which was a plus.Staff were fantastic, spoke both German and English which helped us greatly.Can highly recommend if youre in the area!

Tasty food, great service, cold beer. We had no booking but were able to walk here from our hotel so gave it a shot. So glad we did. We enjoyed vegetarian biryani, a superb mango lassie and other treats. Reasonable prices too.

Good options of food and a nice sitting area.. if you are from the sub continent then ask for a original spicy while ordering.. been there with a very big group of international students from different part of the world and they loved the food...

Delicious indian food in the heart of Vienna. The staff are amazingly friendly, and never fail to impress. This used to be our local when we lived here, and we still make sure to visit every time we come back to Vienna. Even after visiting India, Indus is still my favourite place to get great Indian food!Despite other reviews, Indus accepts credit cards! 💳

The place is nice as long as you seat in the terrace. The food was good. It is a shame you cannot pay with card and the only ATM, after a supermarket nearby is closed, is 20 minutes by walking.

Very delicious food n excellent ambiance

Enjoyed a great dinner at Indus. The Rohan Josh was superb. Very flavorful and tender pieces of lamb. The Garlic Naan and Rice were perfectly done and outstanding compliments to our main dish. the chicken tandoori was also outstanding. Service was friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend if you want very good Indian food near or in the First District.

Had a very good meal. Spiciness was okay, but a bit westernised. Kinda understaffed, so service was a bit slow, but still very nice and friendly. The decor was unexpectedly modern and stylish, very nice.Would definitely come back!

Best pakistani/indian restaurant in Vienna. At least i felt some one cooks the subcontinent food with different ingredients and a method closer to original authentic indian. Most indian restaurant in Vienna seem to use same ingredients and they taste same but this one feels different and good. Nice interior, something indian/Pakistani restaurants in Europe dont focus at. Located at a very calm place and easy to reach.

Went near end of lunch time but they let us still dine in, my mom being from Lahore approved the taste of the multiple dishes we tried. As a family we have eaten Pakistani food all over the globe but this was one of the closest taste to home. Must go if you are looking for a desi restaurant in Vienna.

Its a really nice and satisfiing experience. The mango lassi (which can be a deal breaker in some places) is so good that you cannot not drink it in the first 5 minutes.

It was one of the best lamb biryani I had have outside India. Aslo to add the masala chai was splendid.Ifti uncle was so helful and gave us so good tips about how to visit Vienna in a short span. His advice was a saviour for us.

A HUGE disappointment!Absurdly long wait (85 minutes for the main dish to arrive at our table, while watching one takeaway/delivery order being processed after another), mediocre food, bland ambiance.Not a single redeeming aspect.

Really delicious Indian food with competitive prices for Vienna. My only problem was no vindaloo and the naan was a bit lacking (only plain and garlic). Also I ordered something spicy and in my opinion it was not that spicy, but I cant blame the restaurant too much. If it was actually spicy your average Austrians would problably not want to eat it...

Over priced place and food was terrible. Not even close to Pakistani food. Highly not recommended

Possibly my favorite Indian restaurant in Vienna. Have been many times, and I can heartily recommend the murgh tikka masala, the murgh madras and the mango chicken. Their naan is great too. Their lunch plates are a lot cheaper than the stuff on the menu, but not as good by far.

Food was nice, good quantity and tasty, but service....they really need to improve that. Local looks good, but all tables where dirty and waiter didnt even clean them during all our dinner, we only went there by 8pm. A small smile didnt kill no one...

Simply the best Indian food in Vienna!

Second favourite Indian in town, after Samrat on Florianigasse. Tasty, big portions, reasonable service and prices. Popular so I advise booking. If you like your food spicy... The extra spicy option is slightly spicy for a Bristish palatte, and extremely mild for an Indian one!

Was there last night, food not served as requested at first no plates were given then when the plates finally arrived they were very cold plates, the samosa was not cooked. The waiter was very rude. Left without finishing our meal. would not recommend.
