This is about 300-350 years old Shri Sheetal Nath Digambar Jain Bada Temple of Vidisha, which is located inside the fort. Earlier there was a crude Jain temple at this place. In the eighteenth century, the decision was made to make it solid and work started by collecting donations. On completion of construction of the temple, the work of prestige was done with pomp. This temple is very grand and huge. It has one inner square and two outer square. There is a five-storey umbrella at the entrance above which the golden peak is adorned. There is a third square about 16 feet long inside the temple. There are 8 altars on two sides of the Chowk. There are pillars around the chowk. There was a beautiful panorama on the walls and the ceiling on all four sides. At present, the painting is left on the roof, which is made of gold water. Due to the deterioration of the walls, it has become colored. The temple has a statue of Muni Shri Mahakirti, whose burial took place in Bajrang Guna. In this way, the idol of Muni Shri is not in any temple in India. You all must have seen this temple, those who have not seen it must come to see it.
