At first looks nice, but sorry waitress a bit rude, she was more than happy to serve young people which we think are students around the place, we came as a family with two boys. Food not that great for the value you pay and get, I’m sure it’s over priced sorry if only waitress could be a bit more nicer with a smile wouldn’t hurt, so only 1 star, should be half as could have been more helpful with the menu but bit rude so that’s all you get, wouldn’t be coming back anytime ☹️

Pro tip for tourists: to support a sustainable tourist economy to help Venice don’t go to places that have formal attendants outside trying to lure you in. There is one right next to Orange that we almost went to, then came here instead. Great place all the locals go to. Fast service. Campo Santa Margherita is wonderful.

Terrible service, staff is sitting outside smoking and drinking, bothering restaurants next door with terrible music. Awful, would not recommend this place to anyone.

THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS DO NOT GO HERE.The blonde waitress who works here helps thieves in Venice steal peoples phones. I wish I were lying..I had my phone stolen on the 2nd day of my trip. I went back to my hostel, I was panicking as it had my flight tickets and my Biennale tickets saved on it and I was in Venice alone. I was calling it, hoping I had dropped it and it had been handed in somewhere, but knew that would definitely not be the case in a place as rife with pick-pockets as Venice.I had only been round San Marco and Rialto, nowhere near this side of Venice, let alone this bar, and my hostel was about 7min walk from Rialto too.Then I remembered the Google service, Find My Phone thing. I used the hostel owners phone to see if we could see my phones location. The location seemed to be really accurate and took us all the way to Orange Bar. The phones location seemed to be in the bar too.I went up to a blonde, young waitress behind the bar, I asked her if a phone had been handed in, or if she knew of any missing phones in the bar or nearby. She told me There is no phone here, it isnt in this bar. Check outside in the square, but it definitely isnt in the bar. The location was assuredly coming from in the bar, but my phone was on silent so ringing it wasnt doing anything...I then saw an option on the Find My Phone service to make the phone ring, regardless of it being on silent. I did this while stood in the bar and a man pulls it out of his bag. Him and his friends looked really sketchy, exactly like the kind of scumbags who would steal phones. I snatched it out his hand and ask him why he had my phone. He didnt seem to speak English, so I couldnt understand his response. The blonde waitress then came over and said He found that phone today! He didnt steal it! Please leave.Lies. If she had known about the man finding the phone, why was I told there was definitely no missing phone in the bar? Utter scum. Clearly helping those thieves pickpocket.Bottom line: be extremely careful of theft in Venice.But DO NOT GO TO ORANGE BAR.Who knows how much stuff they steal from customers from the bar? The place also looks disgusting. What a shameful establishment.

As a tourist from the US we came in late at night and they gave us free drinks on two occasions! I highly recommend, the staff was friendly and quick. Thank you Orange so much! Our stay in Venice was fantastic!

I came here on a Thursday for kareoke. The bar tenders are great. The kareoke not so much. If you are not a local do not think about singing. The same chick has been singing pretty much all night. Its all local people. I heard the same song sang twice in the 3 hours I was there waiting for my song to come up. If you want to watch and drink for kareoke then this is your place but if you want to sing and are not Italian then forget it.

Thick crepes and decent croissants make this a good place. They also have a list of breakfasts from other countries so its great if you have someone in your group whos looking for food from home!

So much for Italian pizza. Pizzas were very average. Overall bad experience. They refused to give WiFi password until we placed the order, and the steward took forever to come to our table.

The service and drinks you get are completely dependent on the staff - one night we felt very welcome and were served generous shots, the next night a condescending girl ignored us repeatedly before serving us very small ones.

Ideally located in a very lively square, this bar in the colors of Aperol SPRITZ. There is a large rear terrace and a roof terrace! The SPRITZs are very good and inexpensive. The pizzas are good too! Superb address at aperitif time ...

I went to this bar with friends to offer an aperitif for my birthday.The only nice thing is the Terrace overlooking the field below which is also the reason that led me to choose the bar. I wasnt expecting such bad service though. Meanwhile, the waiter on arrival greeted us in a very abrupt way, specifically that it was quite early and there was no full house so I do not justify the rude ways.There were 8 of us and we all took several rounds of drinks (spritz, Hugo, soft drinks - minimum 2 each). With everything we consumed they had brought us half a potato chip in a bag. Not even a peanut or a shot. Nothing at all! I specify that the drinks all cost above average, which is not a problem if they are accompanied by a decent service but so it is really a joke.Plus, knowing it was a birthday, like they did at the next bar, I would have expected them to charge everything and eventually make me pay for everyone. There were not many people and it was clear that I would not have run away with all the guests in tow. Instead they wanted everything immediately with every order, obviously creating annoyance and the discomfort of having to pull out the banknotes every 5 minutes in front of the guests. It really is a tourist trap!

I was with friends last night, terrifying experience. We wanted to go to the terrace, we were rudely told it would close after 15 minutes, when in fact after two hours there were still people coming up with cocktails. Grumpy and sour staff, we wanted to pay separately but the girl with arrogant attitude told us that we could not, when she could very well have specified it at the beginning, being a large group. Spritz and Negroni watered down and bad atmosphere of the place, full of screaming kids. They also denied us a glass of water, saying they could only bring us a bottle (at the Modica figure of € 2). I used to go to the place a couple of years ago and it was much better, definitely wont be going back.

I have read opinions about this establishment and they described it as a cheap place and such but I was not such good, beautiful, cheap. You can find sites with better value for money. A waiter boy who has attended us first was very nice but then he served us a blonde who had a bad ostia that seemed a bit more and hits us ((Then the food was not bad taste and they have a large terrace outside and another type indoor garden.

The Orange bar is a restaurant located in Campo Santa Margherita. I went there several times to have lunch, alone or with friends. The reason is mainly dictated by the reception of the environment, the kindness of the staff and the goodness of the sandwiches served. The choice of sandwiches, toasts, piadine is quite wide. You can order the dish of the day, usually it is a first course or a second course.The prices are quite good, although the bar is located in one of the areas most visited by tourists.

We went out on Wednesday night, and they offered us to go upstairs to the terrace. They charged us a spritz and a hugo 11.50 euros. As a justification they told us that the prices were on the table, but instead it wasnt. I do not recommend every student to go here, zero honesty.

Great cafe with snacks and Aperol spritz for € 3.50. I had a tomato and buffola salad for lunch. Came super fresh and tasty for 7 € and was served directly from the kitchen. Great service - gladly again.

New place, alive in a young and elegant atmosphere. We were quietly in the garden and on the terrace, with a relaxing view. In the evening it comes alive and becomes the center of entertainment in the area. Varied music and events such as soccer matches on the big screen. We have lunch and dinner with a varied menu for all tastes.Many beers, Italian and foreign wines and cocktails. I recommend it for everyone!

Wonderful place, the food is really great and the same can be said for spritz, beers and cocktails.The staff is always fantastic and very kind, now is a place that I frequent for years practically every Saturday night, prices a bit over the top but the whole can make them a smallness.

For me LOrange is an institution, I often find myself with friends in this place. Good spritz, good food and cicchetti. A special applause for the small garden in the back, where you can ask to be seated if you want to be a little secluded.
