The Worst hotel in my life history. Problems Faced, 1) No receptionist for 15+ minutes when I reached the hotel. 2) Dialled landline and mobile numbers provided in Whatsapp but no one answered.3) When I told I paid service, receptionist face reaction changed like he hate it.4) No room service boy, to show the room. 5) After entering room 204, i was shocked.6) Jug is kept but unclean in one corner. 7) No water is filled in that jug.8) TV was there but no cable connection.9) In my 24 hours time, thrice I complained about Tv to receptionists.i.e after 4 hrs from check-in time.Again 16 hrs from check-in time. Again 20 hrs from check-in time. But they never sent anyone till my checkout.10) I checked in at 4:25 pm and I never used toilet for 7 hrsAround 11:40 pm kind, I used my toilet and noticed no water after pressing that button. 11) At this time itself I decided this is the worst hotel and all information are fake.12) Morning after waking up around 9 am kinds, I found that I need to release the valve first, then only water will fill in that flush tank13) These hotel should announce that visitors need to come along with plumbers when they book room in their hotel.Please don’t recommend this hotel anyone, it will spoil their tour plan.I kindly request supervisors to look into this and take all the actions. You can check CCTV footage’s too.If they proved all above complaints are false I’ll pay Rs.1,00,000 lakh.If you find all the above info are true then take actions. I have been staying in Palm Tree Hotel for the last 10 years (twice a year). I used to give a rating of 5/5. This time I gave it 4/5. Because cleanliness was an area of concern. I understand that it maybe due to reduced number of staffing because of the pandemic. Bathroom had permanent stains which must be cleaned using bleach. Also, I have a feel that those who books rooms are only given the old rooms on 2nd floor even though the new rooms are ready post renovation. The first room given to me had a clogged wash basin(it was horrible to see), then I had to approach the reception for another room. The day/early evening staffs are friendly. Hopefully I will have a better experience next time.

Dont expect more than what youve paid for. No room service. You have to take the jug downstairs yourself to get water. The room was clean however and was well maintained. Decent for the price you pay.

I believe this hotel is still work in-progress and yet to be made ready for customers. As mentioned in other reviews, parking appears to be a common hassle but I dont think they can do much about it. That said, there are quite a few areas where they can make a difference.1. Room cleanliness - I dont believe they did a proper cleaning of the room and bathroom/toilet after the previous stay. There were no blankets, no buckets and in one of our room no mugs in the toilet.2. Hot water isnt available anywhere but they were kind enough to provide us with room service for that.While there are aspects you cannot control such as the narrow roads, please focus on the controllable such as cleanliness.

But, if anyone with four wheeler books this hotel then he would definitely realise the error he/she made by just considering the cost. As the hotel is not newly constructed but, altered. we could easily see the difference in Windows and doors which makes us dull and pulls the charisma along with it. So, think twice before proceeding.

Till now my experience with goibibo this is worst hotel service i had.I booked for 3 nights : 13-15th nov, check-out 16th..I checked in on 14th morning at 5:25 am as my train was late. List of problems are below1.When I reached hotel security guard told to wait as reception staff went for washroom. I wait for approx half hour and after that I strongly asked for staff, then security guard went inside and brought reception staff. Please believe me he was sleeping inside not went for washroom....2.They dont have the room which I had booked(deluxe room), so as per them they provided me executive room which had AC with sound more than fan, room was smelly because of fungus on the wall and all colour was came out due to humidity...picture i have uploaded. I agreed for same room for that day as I dont want to break my head.3.I asked for basic requirement water and towel. After asking for 3 times they provide really bad dirty towel with smell(14th nov morning). But they didnt provide water and ask us to fill water urself. That room hot water was there as geyser was working. Just settled that day and afternoon they told me to change room. As my room was executive one.4.At last om 2nd day of my booking i came to actual room for same i had booked(on 14th afternoon). After coming to this room on next day(15th nov morning) when I was searching for soap that was not available. Informed staff but no response. As i was late for my conference i used my soap and left by telling them to Clean room and change bed sheet. In this room with my good luck towel was good.5.My wife stayed at room and asked for 2 times to clean room and at last they came to clean room at 12 noon(15th nov), but they didnt even care to provide water, change bedsheet and provide new towel....6.They changed bed sheet but which has holes in it. u can find pic in attachments7.After asking for again they provide again dirty towel, i have taken pic with comparison of towel provided before(clean one). At last water we filled ourselves.8. In this delux room one thing I forgot to tell that hot water facility was not there. After filling full bucket of water also hot water not available. Staff informed but replied saying thay from their side no problem.9.Still not enough, on 16th morning they are saying to checkout at 5:30 am , aS we have checked in on 14th morning 6 am.(actually I have booked for 13-15th November) so as per hotel policy i have to checkout at 16th 12 noon.Some how they convinced and we checked out at 12 noon.10.No wifi facility availableBut I am asking go ibibo and other reviewer how are you rating this hotel as 4.2 star rating.Staff are not at all helpful...I booked this hotel as it was goibibo certified with money back guarantee.. Now i dont have trust in goibibo rating, better to go by google rating.

Horrible place. I have stayed earlier in this hotel but they have deteriorated like anything. I was traveling with my father as he had appointment at CMC. We reached early morning and the manager was kind enough to allow us a room to freshen up. Though the room was dirtiest to the core, we still had no other option. In the evening, when we came back from CMC, we saw the room in the same condition. When we checked with the reception, they said it will be only cleaned in the next morning. We had no other option but to leave the hotel to another. Be careful before you visit next time

Located in a narrow gully off vellore main road, it is extremely difficult to take a car till the hotel as the road is jam packed with 2-wheelers. The hotel is not allowing parking due to ongoing construction work, they made me park my car in an empty site further away.Room: Had BEDBUGS and was woken up bitten badly in the middle of the night and had to change rooms. AC is very ineffective, only after keeping on whole night it feels cool by morning. Hot water for bathing is through solar, so you will get hot water if you are lucky only. I didnt. Finally AC starts leaking water inside the room. Water in the bathroom completely stopped and had to wake them up at 6am and ask them to switch on the motor. You are also woken by 6am rudely by the banging sounds of construction going on.I strongly advise against staying here. Not worth the money and effort.

It was a good experience again. Renovation/extension works didnt bother at all. Cable TV didnt work which was not a major issue for me anyway. Hotel is very near to Old Bus Stand, Jalakandeshwara temple, CMC...etc. A good veg restaurant is just closer as well. Autorickshaws available just at the gate. This was my 5th stay in Palm Tree and looking forward to it again. Thanks

That was a good stay for family at affordable cost compared to other hotels in the city. Can provide extra blankets and towels. Pre-booking will be convenient. Early morning check in was not allowed, only after 12pm room was available. Within 12 have to check out unless stayed at that night. Otherwise was a good ambience hotel for family and friends.

This review is for an executive deluxe room Room: It had AC(which is pre-set to 25 or something... you cant manually change the temperature), TV(with almost all channels), a bed, a table and a chair. Bathroom: Bathroom was very neat... flush could be improved... it had geyser and a mirror Area: Its situated in a narrow street but very close to everything you need... it felt like a perfect place. Staff: I didnt have much interaction with staff but they seemed friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Budget Hotel. Location close to main city and CMC. Lots of food joints nearby. We stayed in a 4 bed AC room; furnishing was a little poor. No table, TV too high on wall, plug points inaccessible. Room was cleaned everyday. Flush was very noisy. Staff was non disturbing. And very strict about check out timings.

This is a good budget hotel in Rs. below 500 only for staying. rooms bathroom are clean . but all taps are need to be repair. switches are also bad. main problem is fooding. for taken your food you need to go out side by bus or auto. for north Indian and Bengali food you need to go at cmc area which is 100 Rs. updown by auto and 12 rs. by bus. hotels people do not understand Hindi or English.. only receptionist can tell in English. on first day I had ordered my dinner at hotel at 7.00pm the receptionist confirmed that will be served at 9.00pm, but after waiting till 10.00 pm when I asked for my dinner, he said theyre unable to provide and I need to take from outside. at 10.00pm I had no option, and go to sleep without dinner. so be careful before booking this hotel

The location is very nice though a bit far away from the center. Rooms are relatively clean compared to other hotels in the same range, but still service could be further improved. You should book the rooms well in advance before arriving at Vellore. We stayed there on three occasions. Standard-AC rooms are better than Executive AC rooms.

Hotel was ok ok. building work is going on, if you are going to vellore for CMC purpose then everytime you go to CMC you have to pay minimum 50 rupees to auto oneway, if you want to avail that then you can proceed. hotel is ok type, nobody ll disturb you much.

The hotel is not at all good. You will hardly find any place to walk in the room. If you book the rooms for three person, you are dead. They will give you a mattress and now its your job to find a place in the room to place it, but you wont get any. Moreover, the staffs of the hotel behave as if they are doing a favour on us by giving a room in their hotel. I would have given negative rating if there would have been a provision to do that. I went there with my parents and altogether we had 4-5 bags. The guy who accompanied us to the room, just picked one bag and walked off. The attitude of the staff is not bearable and acceptable. I left the room the other day.

Good budget hotel. Nice rooms with decent facilities. Rooms are clean but nit airy. It will be to humid inside the room in any month especially in monsoon it will be very difficult to live without opening the windows. But if you open a window then there will be mosquitoes. But price is decent if compared to the facilities provided.Request to hotel management: Please provide a mineral water for every room.

Amazing. A perfect place to check in, if you visit Vellore, the rooms are in a very good condition, though its a little less spacious. The hotel is cleanly maintained. Another big plus is that the price is very cheap, in fact one of the cheapest in Vellore city with such accomodation facility.The lows about this place is that it is very far from the railway station, though near the Vellore city and at a considerable distance from CMC.They dont prepare their own food in the hotel, however food is readily available at a walking distance.

When we could not procure a room in the Top ranked hotels due to a last minute trip, we came to Palm Tree going by the Lonely Planet recommendation. The rooms are clean with parking and a 2km or so proximity to CMC. Theres no restaurant but Hotel Arya bhawan is just a stones throw away so its quite a good option. The rate charged for the rooms makes it a good deal for a brief stopover.

It is medium range hotel, located at vellore, thennamaram st.The hotel is built and maintained well. We satyed 3 times at different occasions, for our visit to CMC Vellore (Hospital). The hotel is approx 2 KMs away from CMC, located in a little congested area. They have parking slots for around 8-10 cars.Rates are really affordable for it is classified as 2/3* hotel. we booked through GOIBIBO app, so got some discounts. Rooms and bathrooms are tidy and kept well.Receptionists and service boys are cordial. They have small pantry area, kept for filtered and hot water. They have no restuarant.

Good place for only lodging with budget rooms in centre place of Vellore. CMC is 2 kms from here. Tourist attraction Vellore fort is just nearby. Nearby one will get lot of eateries. Rooms are cozy and with both a/c & non a/c rooms with all modern amenities.
