Service was very poor, Staffs were not good at all. Overall management was very bad. No lift available also power supply was not good. Manager was very rude. Do not visit the lodge if you are looking for a well mannered people.

The owner is a good man, but one supporting staff is a nasty fellow. But no worry he is abnormal.

Neat and clean rooms with common kitchen available and gas stove and all other utensils are available on very less rent like less than 50 rupees a day and its in a very prime location just two minutes walk from CMC main gate. Staff is very helpful. Ticket booking is also available here.

Cheap and clean rooms. No lift rooms are at 1st and 2nd floor only. Its a family lodge very safe compared to any other nearby lodges.

My parents were went to Vellore CMC hospital for treatment 1993 and they were stayed there Devi Lodge. That time it was very popular and cleanest lodge . My parents were appraised this lodge. It is very excellent lodge for middle class and who visit to treatment cmc. Best of the lodge entire CMC near hospital.

My brother went there for treatment along with my parents. They were very pleased with the behavior of the manager as well as the staff. Rooms were good in comparison to the other budget lodges. Value for money.

Goodside: If you ask for anything they will provide. Rooms are clean.Badside: Rooms are very small and suffocating. No sink for cooking. One of managers who knows Bengali asks me tips money from the day we have reached the lodge which is very awkward. A little bit noisy. The rate for AC room 1100 Rs. is too much for this kind of room I think.

Suitable for stay but little but upgrade

Didnt stay there. Just visited to seek rooms. However, the rooms are expensive comparatively its facilities. More over, to enter the lodge anyone have to go upstairs which is very much troublesome for aged persons. Therefore, we refused to stay there. However, rooms were newly painted and clean but small in size. There are general kitchen are for cooking in each floor.

I have stayed there in may month. Rooms are very unhealthy condition. No natural air and light in the room. For non AC room take 550RS, although I have to tell perday room fare is 500 by phone. Besides this manager of the hotel forced me to leave the room 2 hours before my check out time. Over all unexpected and panic experience from manager. He compelled me to leave the room early as his another customer is waiting. I am forced to leave room before my check out time , prior two hours, with my brain tumor patient mother। Pls do not stay though CMC distance is very short.

Good place to live not too costly only 650/day non a.c. and 900/day a.c. and the best thing is u can make your own food here I know its not good for every one but as most of the guests are patients of cmc so it is a good thing that they or their family members can cook food for them according to their needs and problems the rent for stove for cooking is 500/day I know its costly but healthy and I suggest u to bring your uttencils (bartan🍳🥘🍱) with u and if u dont want to cook, there are many hotels at walkable distances

I have visited many of the lodges and hotels in vellore, but none igmf them have a cooking area as giid as this place. Most people who cime here prefer to cook rather than eating outside. So this place has large areas where you can cook, wash dishes comfortably. The rooms are not like hotel rooms but they are good. Bathrooms are nice with 24 hrs running water. A large roof for drying your clothes. Room rates are standard. CMC is 5 minutes walk from here. However, no geiser in bathrooms and this place does nit have lift. You have to climb a lot of stares because rooms are in the 1st and 2nd floor.

Its a very good place to live in & theyre behavior is humble.

Main advantage of this place is this is walkable distance from CMC. Building is old but the condition of rooms are good. Clean and neat. There is no ventilator in toilets but its clean. Compared to other lodges, this area is far better. LED Tv provided in every room but less hindi channel. Room rents are little pricy but according to other facilities is worth. 24/7 power supply by IPS. No bedbugs, cockroaches, litte manpower but they manages well. Cooking appliances available for extra charges. Triple bed with AC is 1200 Rs, Without ac 750. 200 for extra person. 2 star reduced because of The bad manager.
