This temple is quite unique where you will find Ranganatha and Shiva adjacent to each other on a natural Rock.There is Rudra seed bearing tree.There are marks on the rock where the legend says are of Lord Krishna when he was grazing the cattle.The village also got its name Krishnapuram and the Rock is called as Krishna Paarai(rock in Tamil).Local people workship this rock and the marks from time immemorial
