Awesome location..A perfect location for a peaceful Sunday.. A 1.5 hr ride in a cozy houseboat will trigger the hidden artist in you (if there is any). The splashing waves and the drizzy winds will take you the next level of joy. The food and toddy was the freshest I ever had.

The R Block is one of the most cultivated farms from the Vembanadu Lake. 486 acres. Rice was cultivated in all other backwaters, while coconut, sugar cane and cocoa were cultivated in Arbrook. More than a thousand scales were employed. Many families lived on the outskirts of the lake. Now (2017) the farm is in ruins. The area can be converted into a Kuttanad Heritage Museum. Such changes are expected in the future.
