Lovely place, everything here is tasty. Huge collection of fruit cakes and pastries along with breads, biscuits and cookies. Every should try the fruit cake of here. Shop space is also in a large scale and located in a prime place. Little problem with parking space may occur.

One of the oldest and best bakers so far. I still remember my grandma use to take me. The quality and quantity was not changed still now. But they need to make it modern to stay in business. I hope we will see it as more generation to come.

Very waste and worst bakery they are giving black forest they dont know how to prepare black forest cake but they are selling cream bun will be very nice but they are selling after making that they are selling after 5 days since till day they had the good name of that shop but they will do it or. Our native place is near Vellore, but our current (for the last 30 years) hometown in Toronto. We love the salt biscuits from this store. The other favourite is the puff biscuits.This liking runs to our children also (now grown up) who never lived anywhere near Vellore.

DVP is one of my childhood favorite bakery. Quality is still unchanged but quantity got changed. It will be good for their business if they have weekly promotions in each & every cakes and savouries.

Its a old shop, from childhood we use to buy cakes for Christmas, ambience of the shop was ok, need some renovation of the looks and everything, during festival time it will be busy and rushed with crowd. Plum cake, eggless cake was damn good you wont get bored eating it. Thy introduced banana cake newly and it was quite tasty.

Vellore being my hometown, my siblings and I grew up eating DVP bakery products. Japanese cake and cookies are our all time favorite. Even when we moved out to different places after marriage, DVP bakery items will be a part of the items whenever someone comes to visit from vellore. I moved to U.S. couple of years ago and my sister came to visit me... the first thing on the to bring list was the Japanese cake and assorted cookies... It was a blissful moment when i had the first bite of the Japanese cake... LOVE YOU DVP ❤❤❤❤ Thank you for maintaining the same standard, flavour and taste for so many years...

I was in Vellore between 1980-82, my dad used to get me and elder bro japanese cake and bread. We are almost addicted to japanese cake. Whenever touch Vellore district, we travel to Vellore and buy min 60-70 japanese cakes. No compromise in taste till date. Love it. Fort is not the only icon of Vellore...DVP as well.

The fresh Brown bread is of a whole different calibre ! Not even 1% reduction in the quality since the past 23 years of my life. All the other bakeries in Vellore need to shut down if they had any self respect.
