About 170 kilometers from Bangalore, the temple is in the shape of a star in the middle of the star is a temple which is made of complete gold and there is a ganesha idol made out of 1700 kg silver and there is a Lakshmi naryani idol and there is a golden idol of sorna mahalakshmi( golden mahalakshmi) for which we can do abhishekam with our own hands we get prasadam and there is a venkatachalapathy temple and lots of shops outside the temple complex .Mobiles are not allowed inside the temple and there are separate stands for luggage holding, mobiles holding and slipper stand as well.Must visit place when visiting vellore.

Huge temple complex. Although seems a little commerical rather than divine experience. They will make you walk a lot to get to see the temple which is unnecessary. Mobiles and footwear stands are available for a nominal price of rupees 1 and 3 respectively. Would recommend going in the evening to enjoy the lighting. The main temple needs a little polishing as it has lost its sheen. Also at few places it didnt seem like gold was used to cover the temple. It is just some kind of gold paint or gold spray. Cant say for sure. Worth visiting once.

Beautiful temple complex near vellore. Architecture is one of the best and very calm place.All the things are maintained beautifully. The cleanliness they maintained even having growing no of pilgrims coming there is one thing to be praised. The complex is very beautiful and the green belt they have around the star shaped temple is extraordinary. The green belt is very dense and nicely managed. Occasionally we can see insects of vibrant colours on the pradakshina paths. The main temple is very attractive and the lights a d chandeliers are worth seeing.

We have to walk too far, devotees must needs to eat otherwise you will lose energy, no needs to carry water they arrange plenty of water taps even restrooms also available. Afternoon 12o clock they will close the main gate, better to enter earlier. Evening time also best, there was lighting effects.

Its such a spiritual place , people visiting all over the country but they have timings, temple closed in afternoon (1-3pm) and exit way is made in such a way that you have to enter the shops. They charge 100 rupee per person normal entry for everyone.

Best place to visit for a normal person.... Easily wheelchair accessible...but they allow wheelchair till a specific distance only... which is really disappointing...a physically disabled person who is putting so much of efforts to reach there..but hes allowed darshan from a distance of 25 fts....no washrooms r wheelchair accessible...

No phones, cameras allowed inside. Also we have to walk bare foot.Counters are available to deposit foot ware , phones etc.....Also inside venkateshwara swamy temple is there...The only draw back is there is no arrangement for parking car. It has to be parked on roadsides outside the temple.FOR SURE VISIT TEMPLE... a clean and neat temple.

Very nice, calm and holy place. The temple looks awesome especially in evening. But you cant view the beautiful Golden Temple from the outer gate. You cant capture the beauty of the temple because Camera and Mobile phones are not allowed inside the campus. These should be kept in counters for ₹3.00 each. Also keep shoes of all of your partners together for ₹5.00. If you want to take photographs you have to pay ₹150.00 for each printed photos. The camera man will pick up your photo and set the temple as its background. Must visit this temple.

A recently built temple. Temple is located centrally inside a star shaped pathway. This star shaped pathway is well maintained and its mesmerizing to walk on it. You will find some sculptures and plantation on both side of walkway.As per illustrations inside the campus, 70 kg of gold has been used yo build this temple.It seems that temple management are not able to generate enough revenue by donation to run. There are many initiatives you will get to know when you walk inside the temple, which are targeted to collect money from devotees.Scenic beauty. Spiritual environment.

Should enter the temple within the time limits or else they will make you pay money for special Pass. I have no idea why there is special Pass, just to make money. The volunteers shout like fish Market to invite people to take special Pass, may be they have commision out of that. Once u enter the temple, it doesnt look like temple, but commercial ads of a person wearing Swami dress saying to donate for the temple and also they have put thought for the day straight from Google. They say the temple is constructed with gold, but the gold color has been faded from whichever so called gold I have seen.

Nicely maintained.My experience with the staff was not friendly.Id just go for free Darshan instead of 100 or 250 or 1000.You can park your car inside the temple.They try to oversell, dont fall for it. I felt most of them are not worth the value theyre offering.Usually rating for a temple should be 5 out of 5. However, I felt this temple is more commercial. Thats why 4 out of 5. Otherwise, its a very good place to visit.

What a lovely and peaceful place for visit, only downside is that you have to walk soo long to get into its main and centre golden temple building, but the beauty is worthy enough. And you cant carry cellphones with you neither the shoes!
