Nice place for sun rise and sun setting view. Usually not crowded. Will be crowded during fest times. One can find lodges, hotel, shopping centre 500m from the beach. One can find chruches near to it. Have beach top view also. Some lodges are located near to beach, so you can have beach look.

There are lots of shops available here. beach is crowded always. Beach should be maintained well, the beach is bit dirty because of the amount of tourist and pilgrims visit here.Note: there is a hidden beach in velankkani. IF u walk along the shore of the beach you will see pine fore and that beach will be all alone. you can spend some time very calm and with some peace of mind away from crowd. Turn right side from the beach shore and walk for about 2kms.

I love that area because its very clean and good feel fresh air its suite for lovers family members and kids

Messy long beach. People dump all plastic and eatables near beach. I wish some authorities should take initiative to keep it clean. , in the opposite there is a lane, where hundreds of shops are on both sides. Many things are there to buy. Good economical things are for sale. At the end of the lane, there is the beach

Place is good to visit. Last time it was very clean. You can go with your family. Enjoyable place. There are some shops near the beach. You can buy their goods at affordable price. Church is also close to the beach. It is asias most popular church. You will feel peace there. People also do mundan (hair remove) there and after that they go to church. Main moto is they donate their hair to mother mary and wish upon thank you must visit one time.

Beach is not so good. It smells of fish. There are few view points. But all of them have been blocked for entry. In the entrance there are many shops selling dry fish. On the beach, there are few shops selling cooked fish.If the dirt of plastic waste is cleaned it will become beautiful.
