Indoor cooking available. Friendly environment. Nearby to church and sea. But room are not cleaned properly. If they improve the cleanliness then its the best place....

Very good Ambience and headroom are very neatly maintained.New floor rooms are very good and Mr. Jude is taking care of the residency.The best thing of this hotel is Mr. Jude, hell help you in any aspect. And help you need hell be there for you.Please talk to him if you need any cab for pondi, or to any Church.Hotel room are very reasonable in off season.Please visit.

Nice to stay.. But one thing I am requesting to fix indian toilet.. because many people are not comfortable with western toilet especially tamilians dont feel comfortable... Please consider my request.. and one more thing.. fix hand wash besan outside of toilet.. because it feels some what to wash hand, utensils and plates inside of the toilet... Other than this its nice and comfortable near to church as well as beach.. Thank you..

This lodge has got good rooms but not that great maintenance. They dont provide you hot water instead you have to pay for it. Acs do not function properly. They do not provide you the remotes to control AC. They set the temperature and till you vacate you cannot change. Water here is hard water. It contains heavy salt and not at all good for our skin. I would not request anyone to go for this hotel. I had a very bitter experience.

Me and my family had booked rooms at SD lodge before one month. I had made almost 15 calls to confirm that we will be reaching on 10th of October morning. The manager had everytime confirmed that we will be alloted 2 rooms on ground floor and one room with AC. When we reached the lodge the manager told that there are no rooms on ground floor and he gave us 2 non AC rooms on 1st floor. My mother is handicapped and she had to climb the stairs, moreover the fan has no speed at all. When we asked for hot water to bath my kid he gave it after one hour. At the time of booking the manager confirmed the rates at Rs 800 for non AC and Rs 1500 for AC rooms. He charged us Rs 1500 for non AC rooms, when we told him that you had confirmed us the rates the answer he gave was forget all that, today this is the rate. I would suggest not to go to this lodge since the manager is a big cheater. There are many good hotels with facilities in the same price.Never go to SD lodge. Horrible experience

Should take care of cleanliness more

Over priced place with minimal facilities and infrastructure. The management expects you to follow all their rules whereas the reverse is not applicable.. you can find better options for almost the same price when booked in advance
