One of the best places to have South Indian food. Ample sitting space. Humble & courteous staff.Tasty food.Dont order paper dosa coz their paper dosa is nothing but sada dosa. Not crisp.Found Sambhar a bit more spicy. I liked their coffee and Uttapam. Overall, a very good place for fooding & The dishes offered are most tasty, classical south indian. The place is filled with indian people, a good indication of the quality of the cuisine. Enjoy a dosa or an uttapam sitting on wide tables, comfortable and suitable for a group of people. Prices are reasonable, waiting time also. Filter water is available.
I am visiting this restaurant since last 12 years and I must say that the taste of the food is not what it used to be. But it is still many notches better than any other economical restaurant in the city centre. If the management is reading this review then please focus on the food quality. There is always a 10-15 minutes waiting time during evening so its better to come during lunch hours. There is no place for car parking so keep that in mind.
Nice authentic south indian food, good hygiene, nice ambience. All at good price as well. Great place overall. Recommended.
Good place if youre looking for South Indian food. Hygienic place. Good service 👍🏻

One of the best resturant in Varanasi for south indian foods. If your mood is awaiting for any South Indian dish please visit once here. Apart from South Indian you can also enjoy here north Indian food like Chhole and Bhature. Its only 5 to 10 minutes away from BHU. So if you are in Varanasi enjoy your meal atleast once here.
Nice south Indian food in Varanasi. The service is good and food is tasty. Cost is very affordable and its not very expensive. Parking place available for bikes.
Its good place for South Indian meals. But generally crowded. There is big rush
Its located at a good place however the food did not taste good. The dosa had portions of onion which are actually the roots of the onion. The sambhar had large pieces of tomato which shouldnt have been there.
Food was great, variety was less but OK.A lot of croud but owner was my friend so he let me in
Price too much, just for 3 piece idly and 1 dosa charged 170/-.
Perfect spot for South Indian dishes... and at very reasonable rate..
Positive vibes and good ambience. Dosas and Idali here are of great taste.
Since my childhood we eat dosa from Kerala cafe.dosa was always good but I noticed from last few months the taste was charged.
Overrated place. Food was not upto the mark. One can get tastier dishes outside in a much lesser rates.

Authentic south indian restaurant in Varanasi. Good taste, Decent ambience.Lot of rush in the evening. People are asked to sit on shared basis. It kind of spoils the dining experience.

Fried Idli is just love 💕
I have visited Kerala Cafe several times and the cuisine and service of this restaurant. South Indian tourists in Varanasi could check this place out.
Food quality was okay. Not that of a crazy food in which one goes ballers. I’d suggest to go for the coffee , it’s undoubtedly the best.
One the best south indian restaurant in the town. This place makes you Nostalgic as it it serving since 1962. Old people came here to relive those old days and younger generation vame here to make memories. Food is quite delicious but some people dont find same as years back. You have to wait a while as this place is mostly filled with crowd. Food prices is very genuine and on the budget side. Must try
Its a good place if you are searching for best south Indian food in Varanasi and the theme of resturant is completely based on South India
Came after very long time and could not find that taste and appealing in the same.Need to look over some areas for improvement.
Everything is good here except for the fact that they serve bitter coconut chutney sometimes...and that alone is enough to spoil the mind blowing taste of dosa.
This is very famous restaurant for south indian cuisine in Banaras. Hygienic and good seating. I waited 25 mins to get a table cant say what happens when peak crowd hit. I tried coconut utpam which was good and cold coffee with ice cream. My experience was good.
The best place for South Indian delights in all of India. Truly, whatever you will order it will blow your mind, that I can assure you. The place has got a face lift and is under renovation but functioning. Its literally cheap but one can truly enjoy the culinary adventure here.... So, just go and have fun. By the way I almost forgot its always super crowded....
Interior is somewhat good but the taste of the food just dropped.
Best all verieties of delicious dosas available and cold coffee is best....I like Rawa Dosa...
Its a challenge for keralites craving delicacies from their hometown. This restaurant in town aims to entice you and soothe your travel blues with their appetising south Indian food.
Rawa Onion Masala Dosa was a bit oily as compare to other places. Idli was good. Ambience was ok.

One of the few places in Varanasi where one can get good south Indian food.
Good, tasty and hygienic vegetarian South Indian restaurant with quality food and peaceful environment
Nice place but food is ok not so good
Over hyped. The waiters dont listen to you. If you ask for a refill , they will make sure either your food gets over or it becomes too cold to eat.The taste has surely gone down.
Good food. Very genuine price. Has maintained the quality since a very long period of time. Rava Masala Dosa, Chole bhature and cold coffe are must try.
Good mostly Time crowdy...Cheap rates...Food average quality
A place with good ambience and tasty food at pocket friendly prices. If visiting on weekends make sure you have some time in hand as you might have to stand in a queue as its heavily packed.
Kerala Cafe, located at Bhelupur Junction road, is a very old southindian vegetarian restaurant in Varanasi. They serve many high-quality & tasty southindian delights. The owners and staffs are very friendly and they offer a good service too.Very crowdy on weekends and holidays! Dining is though comfortable, seats can be modified to offer more comfort to the customers. They may also think of adding southindian full meals (lunch) in the menu.
