Sarada Muttu ,place for worship of God Devi just 2 kmfrom Varkala Railway Station .All marriages at Sivagiri takes place here .The construction of Temple wall is unique .If you hit on one side of wall ,you can hear the sound at another side .In olden days Marriage used to take place inside the temple .Now a days it is shifted to outside ,so that every body can view the marriage function clearly ..This place is very calm and quite .Even if you sit here for some time our mind will gets lots of peace . Sivagiri Muttu is located just above the temple

It is a part of Sivagiri Mutt. This is a sarswthy temple, the goddess of Vidya (education and knowledge) established by the great Narayana Guru who preached one caste one God and one Religion for mankind. This temple is managed by Sivagiri Sree Narayana Dharma Sangam Trust which is also the governing body of all institutions coming under Sivagiri Mutt Varkala. The architecture of the temple is different from the Hindu conventional temples. It has wide windows kept open. The wedding ceremonies are conducted infront of this temple.

Holy home of mother sharadha devi

A Shrine dedicated to Sri Saraswati devi, the Hindu Goddess of Knowledge, established by Sree Narayana Guru himself. He laid fhe foundation stone in the year 1908, and the first ritual fell in the year 1913. The whole layout differs from the conventional style of a Hindu temple. The century old Shrine is well maintained with annual maintenance. It forms the venue for marriage functions as well as Vidhyarambham ( A Hindu ceremony where a kid learns to write its first alphabet.) Daily prayers and rituals are offered as per the schedule.

This temple is dedicate to Saraswathy Devi. The octagonal shaped temple designed by Sree Narayana Guru himself. This temple has windows around, which is very uncharacteristic of a temple and rituals also different than other temples.
