Amazing hotel. Big rooms, big bathroom tub, nice service, almost everything is good about this place.Youve got gym, a swimming pool, and the structure(or the corridor) of the hotel is very different.5/5 as it totally deserve it✨

Stay was comfortable but the services were not up to the mark. Housekeeping did not even exist. Food quality was very good. A very old property, amenities not good. Cleanliness was good but not as expected. Washroom in shabby condition.

Decent property, tasty food, good services

Was yearning to visit a good restaurant for a long time now and did the same, few days back. It is one of the hygienically sound restaurants of the city where iwent with family. The expectations were high but we were left a bit disappointed with the restaurants air-condititoning facility, as well as with the food, somewhat. The garlic butter naan was not very crispy but improved on our insistence. The banarasi aloo dum was quite fragrant and tasty and the filling inside was a nice surprise. We insisted for vegetarian american chopsuey (without onion-garlic) for parents which was also good to taste. Overall, a bit disappointed with the ventilation in the restaurant but the food was good.

We organised tilak, godbharai and ring ceremony functions at this hotel on 16th July. we had booked 2 rooms for staying and changing purposes and Shakuntla banquet hall for the function. Now the reason I consider the service at this hotel very bad is due to the following reasons -1) Checked in around 12 noon and called the room service for drinking water jug since we were 3-4 family members sitting in the room then. my cousin brother made 3 calls but then also we werent served drinking water for around 2-3 hours. Then one of us went to the reception and complained this and then they contacted room service and then we were served water.2) Next I ordered a snack during the afternoon. The snack was delivered, but the plates and utensils werent cleaned for the next 5-6 hours even when I made several calls to the concerned number to come and remove them. A few family members came to the room to sit and talk but those utensils were still lying there. I had to shout at the room service number to clean the room around 10:30 pm since this was extremely unprofessional and unexpected from a hotel which charges you this high amount for a single room. You always expect the basics and these people performed miserably at that.3) Even during the function, family members had to poke the waiters and staff present in the Shakuntla banquet hall to serve starters and all to the guests innumerable times, because the staff was behaving very lazily and lackadaisical. Id mention this again here that these people dont give halls for free, instead they charge good money and after all that when you receive this kind of service it is very disgusting.4) At night, when a few of my guests had to stay in the room, I talked to the reception and the manager of the banquet and told them about the very bad level of service at their hotel when it comes to something as simple as water, and then I stood outside the room door till the water was provided in the room.the only reason I have not given them 1 star is that the food was decent.This hotel needs to re-consider the commitment they have to the guests staying there and revamp their systems if they want guests to feel welcome, otherwise the deterioration as I have described above has already started and very soon it will destroy their brand.

From Booking to Check in and check out... everything was just nearly perfect. The property was well maintained. The staff was following all the Covid Norms. They made me feel so special by arranging a small birthday party to the perfection.

Booked for engagement function, experience was very much pathetic and unprecedented. Staff are non supporting and unprofessional.some points are..1. Kept waiting for almost 3 hours to assign a room.2. Shutdown the power in between the function in summer condition ( as event got delayed by 30 minutes)3. No proper staffs are available around food counter.4. They have overcharged for food in room which had not consumed by the guest, I have been asking for bill and invoice, called and mailed multiple times but no response till now.5. Only they are carrying brand equity but service and support is very much pathetic.6. Think 100 times before booking. You can see their response on Google reviews also..how they are sincere to their customer.

Not good nd very expensive

Its a beautiful Hotel a little old but has Charme. Service is great. Check in was super friendly. We got cake, cookies and drinks as a welcome gift. Room is bigger than average. Bath is also big with a bathtub and clean. Bathrobes, slippers, ironingboard and iron etc were there. Every morning we had newspaper hanging at the door. I loved it. Especialy because i had to check out early from that disgusting hotel called SGT. Was a massive difference changing to the Clarks. Would always choose it again. Breakfast too has nice service and enough options. Cant relate to the negative coments.

Had a bad start with the hotel but Mr. Divesh Pathak , Rooms Manager, was so co operative that it changed my initial concept of the hotel. The property is in a great location and the service team, be it front office, house keeping or catering , are very caring and make sure you are happy.The rooms are well laid out, the lobby is huge and has a casual atmosphere to relax. There is ample parking and next door there is a huge mall. The food is delicious and the menu is good and reasonable for a quick bite or a lavish spread.The rooms are spacious with choice of superior room to a junior suite. Recommend the suite, its worth the price.Sanjay from Food and Beverage is another name that comes to mind. Very helpful in choosing the menu for your meal and caring for you with a smile. Divesh and Sanjay, made our stay at the hotel an extremely memorable experience

Amazing service, Amazing big Rooms. Was only for 2nights but it was like heaven compared to the other hotel I was in. We got cookies and cake as a welcome gift. We had a huge bathroom with a bathtub. 2super comfy beds. Internet was good too. Liked the old Charm but its still modern. If I ever come to Varanasi again will definitely stay at the Clarks. Lobby is beautifully decorated with real flowers and people at the restaurant were also super nice!Its an A++

Stayed there for a night on return from varanasi. Very courteous staff and awesome food. The rooms are well appointed - neat & clean and the garden is awesome for a morning after breakfast stroll.

Smelly Hotel. It seems they dont operate HVAC. Smell of dampness as you enter hotel, too much smell in lift that you cant stand. Very old hotel needs major revamp. Gave us seperate beds to is husband wife, said not available. Wash room not clean. It shall be two star property. Very bad. Wont stay again.

Hotel looks impressive in pics only. Maintenance is very poor. Lobby is reasonably good but rooms are horrible. We had breakfast buffet. Nothing 5 star types, it was like anyother normal hotel those r available for 3000-4000 rs.It must be grand couple of years back ,now in depleting condition.

Clarks a good hotel. Have stayed in this Varanasi property two times now apart from Agra.My family i.e parents global travellers engineers in senior positions were happy with the room provided.Pleasant staff at the reception.

Rooms are very old n bad as per the price they are charging. Totally disappointed. The food for the wedding was great though.. N arrangement as wel. So i m not sure whether it was in house or cateres from outside..The coffee served was extremely bad.. N tea as well.

Hotel is goodProfessional staff and service is good.Food was the best part of my stay.They have very good lawn as well.Rooms are big and comfortable beds.I advice not to stay on the ground floor because during my stay I found a big insect in my room. However, when I reported to reception they quickly took action and a staff came and handled the situation. But still its a recommendation that not to stay in the rooms on ground floor.

Overall experience has been nice. Room decor could have been bit better. Washrooms are not that coducive if one is opting for rooms that include balconies. Food was up to the mark. Food actually has been the star of the menu. Hotel staff was courtious through out.

We stayed for 2 days, Hotel lift is very old and slow, the hospitality is also not so good, the hotel management is very slow, there was very less staff with hotel, rooms were quite old and there was no mobile network in the rooms also wifi was not provided by the Hotel.

Hotel provides good facilities. I wanted to visit Saranath and spoke to reception who arranged for a car immediately. It was very helpful.

This hotel was renowned once a upon a time. Now the lost glory os shown in the interiors and maintenance of the hotel. The rooms are clean and well equipped with amenities. The bathroom is also clean and hygienic. What I really like about the hotel is the long corridor in the lobby of the hotel. Till today this hotel stands tall with all it’s grandeur.
