Very conjusted road to reach out there even two wheeler vehicles have problem in reaching out near the Temple. Its better to park your vehicle long before the Temple and walk towards it.

Theres Pandit ji is very greedy and proper demanding for cash like 501. I was denied for same then he denied that i can not put your prashad in the temple and also this is not a bargaining place . he is using uncomplimentary language and behaviour was very rude.

Jai maa Mangla Gauri.It is usually believe by people and me that any unmarried girls do worship or even visit to mata rani , she gonna marry soon.By the way there is huge story behind this temple as i asked to locals there that lord Surya (sun) do hard worship and tapasya so that he can gather all the God and goddess at one place.One of the oldest temple in Varanasi.Demerit-Nothing about this temple but way to reach here.1- dont exactly depends on.Google map exactly. Its a slight difference but otherwise map is quiet closer to temple....2- this is not road ram Ghat road but street. Narrow and too much narrow. So avoid 2 wheeler or 4 wheeler.P.s. walking is good for health.

Inside this temple there is small brass gopuram ( Sanctum) inside of which there is one of dwaadasa adityas called MAYUKH ADITYA. Story says surya bhagwan came to kaasi to pray for lord shiva, during penance heat generated by sun rays was increasing making unbearable for other living beings, thus lord Shiva & Parvathi blessed Surya bhagwan & touched to cool him down. Thus lord shiva remained there as gawastheswara & Parvathi Devi as mangalya Gowri.
