A great place to be a part of it as its located inside the hub of knowledge i.e BHU .One of the oldest hostels in bhu premises and warden of this hostel is very kind and helpful.

The Arts Faculty has one of the oldest hostels in the University named Birla Hostel constructed way back in 1921 by the legendary industrialist Shri Jugal Kishore Birla in the memory of his father Raja Baldev Das Birla. It is a large hostel and for administrative purposes it was divided in 3 sub-hostels - Birla A, Birla B and Birla C; about a decade back. Undergraduate students are accommodated in Birla A while Birla B is meant for Research Scholars and Birla C for Postgraduate students.

This hostel is not less than a Palace. This is the popular hostel of Banaras Hindu University in many ways. I have been living in this hostel for past one year. I have never ever seen a hostel like BIRLA C.

Im Rana jha from room no 125 ground floor.This hostel Birla C is mainly known as a great students unity. Here inside parking, garden, security, common room, TV room, news paper chamber, mess,cantine, gizer, bathroom, toilet, 24*7Wi-Fi and electronics, all rooms swipper facility, badminton court, valliball court and extra facility is very fine. Every hostlers can enjoy their study life. There is very green environment.

Best Hostel of my life

I regard it(all BHU hostels ) one of the best hostels of government university, educational environment, mess food is ok, best electric supply and water supply,central library, cyber library,free gym, rooms are twin sharing , everything is ok.Sometimes some fights may be seen among students. It is the thing that you should be careful about.

This hostel is NOT a part of IIT, Varanasi, but a hostel for the male students of other faculties of BHU like arts.The name of the hostel should not be spoiled due to few antisocial elements who live there. I emphasize that all the students who live there should not be stereotyped because of a handful of students.I hope that after reading this post, the responsible students who live there work towards the improvement of their hostel’s image.

I have spend my 2 year in birla c hostal. This hostal teach you how to live the life. This is for arts students from different different cources. Birla hostal divided into three parts . Birla a is for bachlors .birla c for masters and birla B for phd.

He is a very good place and very peaceful and pleasant weather...

I have been a member of this hostel and its simply outstanding, this hostel (infact all birla hostels) have big lawns in the front. Mess facility is good, yet not like science faculty hostels. The playground is across the road with tennis and basketball courts, as well as covered spectators seating place. The hostel has so much space in the backyard that it is quite good for hanging out with your mates. Incredible experience and these hostel has all in it to be in your memories forever.
