Went here after seeing the reviews and few pictures. Its an okayish place i would say, not bad not great. Its more of a cafe than restaurant, food was good but obviously a little pricy. We tried lasagna, pasta and pizza along with KitKat shake. Food is good but shakes are not. The view though you wont get that good of a picture as the whole view of the yellow doors, windows and white walls cant be captured as you can see in the pics. If you have a lot if time then try it, else there are better places.

The decor of the lawn is the main attraction, staff is polite and responsive, rooms are very small, good locality. Would not recommend for a stay but would recommend the restaurant and their services.

Had an exotic stay at this hotel.I am a regular customer here since 2018 and the staffs have always amazed me with their exceptional services.The tarrif is pretty affordable with abundant facilities .Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.I highly recommend this place to all the tourists and regular visitors as it is among the best hotels in the city. The hotel is amazing and the staff is courteous. The interior is instagramable. The only thing is that if you are coming with your own vehicle you will have to park on the roadside. There is no specific parking area.

My 3 days stay was absolutely amazing. There are very friendly staffs from reception to kitchen to cleaning department. I fell sick once and they were ready with doctor on call and made me sada khichri. The property is beautifully decorated with a happy and positive vibe. The location is also very convenient. We reached Stay Banaras at 10pm, due to the second wave of COVID, Varanasi had imposed night curfew which began at 9pm. Stay Banaras not only provided us cab from airport but also ensured we didnt go to bed hungry and provided us a delicious filling dinner. Our bags and the car seats were sanitized and the staff wore masks at all times. Truth be told, we hadnt asked for dinner because we knew that the kitchen had closed but the staff insisted we have something. In case you stay in India, you would know how difficult it is to manage anything past curfew time as every shop shuts down, especially during COVID. They also let us stay past the check out time as we had checked in late and were very tired. A special thank you to all the staff who made our one night stay this memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in Varanasi. The rooms and washrooms are clean, the view and the food is good and the staff is super hospitable.

Stay Banaras is true to its name because it will literally make you want to stay back in Varanasi. Its exactly what youd want to come back to after a long day of exploring Varanasi and its many ghats, Dashashwamedh Ghat being the closest to the boutique hotel.The location is the best part as it away from all the chaos yet not far from the main attractions and the hotel has many cosy corners and spacious common areas to just sit back and read a book or soak in some sun on the gorgeous terrace.While our stay there, we had the opportunity to stay in both the private room and the dorm rooms and both accommodations are not just aesthetically designed but also have the basics right to the T; great quality mattresses, sparkling clean bathrooms, good water pressure for the showers, everything really!A special shout out to their in-house diner called Behind Yellow Doors Diner, which has a wide range of multiple cuisine foods that dont just look great but taste even better!The staff have been nothing but wonderful. They had our back the whole time, whether its planning an off-beat itinerary or arranging for transport or anything at all.All in all, I had a great time putting up at Stay Banaras during my visit to Varanasi, It definitely has a charm that would make you want to visit again, for sure.

I have been to banaras 5-6 times because I had my family there, but this time when I visited with my friends I was looking out for a place which is safe and somewhere in the heart of the city because I love to spend times on ghat and cannot moss Ganga Arti . So I found this hidden gem in Sigra. Trust me when I saw the pictures I fell in love with this beautiful property and the moment I checked in, I was flabbergasted with the beauty, the color scheme which they have used (pssst. Yellow is my fav color).Tbh I was worried because of corona scenario but was relaxed when I saw on arrival they took all bags and sanitised ot properly.We were three people so we have chosen bunker bed room which was the best decision we took.Coming to the hospitality I must say each and everyone from the staff or be it higher authority is available at your disposal and will make sure that you feel like home. The best part about Stay Banaras is its centrally located and is away from all the hustle bustle of the city.And I cannot miss telling you that they have a restaurant/cafe setup inside Stay Banaras called as BEHIND YELLOW DOOR & OMG the food was super tasty, so fulfilling and totally worth it. I was sitting in the restaurant and I was not at all feeling that I am in Banaras. I mean if you have ever been to Banaras you will understand that the city is totally buzzing but when I was inside Stay Banaras the vibe was totally different.Everything was superb and at par.Mr. Vijay who manages everything there is a super host and can tell you each and everything about Banaras. Mr. Manish can tell you how he know every lane inside Banaras and from where you can have best food around the city.Pro Tip : Please dont eat or do things which you google. Ask Mr. Manish or Mr. Vijay they will tell you where to go, what to do, what to eat and from where to eat.You will have best things right in time without any hassle.

Hey everyone m simran from Delhi in march me and one of my friend was travelled to Varanasi. after a lot of research we found out this amazing property in the city. the place is full of positive, each and every corner is beautifully designed with an amazing theme. any of the pictures are not justified the beauty of the place. staff is super helpful even the watchman bhaiya. we wanna go to the assi ghat early in the morning so he arranged a auto for us. a special thank to him♥️ we stayed in room no 105. huge mirror on the wall another thing i loved. and bathtub is also there. they give us coffee (or you can choose tea) in the morning. in breakfast we got aalu pranthas with achar and catch-up. also they serve our food in the room as we don’t wanna go to the breakfast area. m totally in love with the vibes of the place. all i can say is the place is itself a beautiful destination.we enjoyed our stay at the hotel thoroughly, We would definitely stay here again.

Stay Banaras is a lovely little property hidden behind those yellow doors in a quiet residential area of Varanasi, away from the crowds and traffic. Hotel is located about ten minutes from Varanasi junction train station and approx fifty minutes taxi ride from VNS airport. Kashi Vishwanath temple and Assi Ghat are 15-20 minutes away.The hotel is definitely pleasing to the eye. Beautiful courtyard and clean, well kept rooms.The in-house restaurant serves delicious meals. I had dinner one evening. Food was yummy, the service was prompt, prices reasonable and they had a bonfire lit to keep the guest warm on this chilly evening.As much as the hotel is really beautiful to look at, its the staff that work here who will make your stay a memorable one. Lets start with DK at security and John at the restaurant who were always smiling and offered great service.Rohit the Front office manager is your go to person for any queries, suggestions or anything else would might need assistance with during your hotel stay. Hes your one stop solution. Rohit is ever so professional and polite, this man goes to great lengths to make sure you have a fab stay, hes a true asset to the hotel and his hospitality is exemplary.Give Stay Banaras a try and your trip to beautiful Varanasi will be etched in your memories forever.Tip: Locating the hotel will be a little difficult for the first time. What a crazy good place this is! Situated perfectly in the midst of the city yet away from the chaos, this place made Banaras even more memorable. The staff and the people are extra nice and helpful. The cafe is perfect for quiet evenings while nights can be spent perfectly stargazing on the roof. Its a perfect package and all in your budget!

If i could give 6 stars I would. Our stay in Stay Banaras was exceptional. The rooms are quite standard but the outdoor area is very cute and a great communal space. The food they serve is very good. The thing that really stands out is the service. Everything we asked for they delivered, fast and with reasonable prices. Ask for Rohit who went above and beyond for us and made our time in Varanasi a memorable and stress free time.

I didnt expect to find such a place in Varanasi. Built in colonial style, it has both rooms and dormitory (men and women separate). The place has been designed very well. Its clean and tidy, friendly staff, good ambience, decent food. The rooms have sufficient and comfortable bunk beds with fans over each bed and an AC in the room. If u r choosing dormitory, they give u toiletries like shampoo and body wash. But the dental kits u have to carry. If u r not carrying towels, they charge Rs.50 for one towel. The price for one bed is RS.700 which we felt was the best deal for tht place. Also it is located just 4 km away from all the major temples and Ghats. U get share auto right outside the hotel. So a worthy place to stay in Varanasi.

Very cosy. Owner is a gem of a person. Can stay here with frnds, family or just your wife. Dinner service is a bit slow but that is because they cook what you order fresh. No previously half prepared gravies served. So all thumbs up for these guys. Will definitely visit again.

We recently lived here for 3 days total of 11 adults and 3 kids . Our stay was exceptional in all regards . You get what you see in pictures . Service is 5 star , people managing the place are the real gem and would be the reason you will keep going . To name few Vijay , anushree and whole team infact made it so very comfortable . There were issues but they were managed in most professional manner and to best of available resources. I definitely feel this place should franchise and grow in many more cities . Concept wise it rocks and displays Indian hospitality to its best . Any special request like non spicy food for sick elderly , kids food , having breakfast buffet open before time in order to accomodate our itinerary all these gestures made us feel at home.Big thumbs up to you all there .Kudos !!!

It was a very beautiful boutique hotel. so so beautiful ambience and look of the hotel. we just loved it. from gardens, to terrace, hotel view. 2 points to note. 1. hotel entrance is bit narrow and little inside from the main road. 2. rooms smaller as compared to what is shown in the picture. But ovrrall not to miss it if you are in banaras and thr abovr two points dont matter to u as much. we just enjoyed the stay to the fullest. played carrom, n many other table games there. Staff as well as manager is too cooperative. too good service. Breakfast was also very good. loved it to the fullest.

Stayed in Stay Benaras from 27th Feb till 2nd March 2019. We were a party of 6. Booked 2 deluxe rooms with ensuite bath and one 4 bedder with bath on the outside.The rooms were quite clean and decently spacious. All rooms had a TV with cable, coffee maker and small eats. Breakfast served was really good and sumptuous.The property is well maintained with a lot of flowering plants as well. A big tree in the courtyard is an added attraction.The location is a bit inside though week connected to the main road. This is a blessing as there is no traffic noise at all. You do get a good nights sleep with no disturbanceThe staff is friendly and do look after your needs well.The main attractions of Varanasi, the ghats and Kasi Vishwanath temple are just 3.5kms away. You can get an electric rickshaw or a cycle rickshaw outside the hotel. They usually all for ₹50

A neat and clean hotel done up in a theme of yellow and white colours. It has about 10-12 rooms with a restaurant (indoor+outdoor) and some indoor games in it. Lot of emphasis has been put on the design of the property and the space has been managed well.The rooms have all the basic facilities, look neat and have airconditioning in them. There are few bunker bed rooms as well. The service was also relatively quick. The manager (Mr. Vijay) was very helpful and was kind enough to arrange for rooms at a short notice.You would need to have some landmarks near the hotel, to inform the auto/taxi folks during your local conveyance. The entrance from the road was a bit narrow, but it is for only about 50 metres and the hotel staff would help for carrying luggages.Complimentary breakfast was available and the food was decent. There are limited options, but quite nutritious options.

Love this hotel in Varanasi... Warm welcome, full of greenery, food that make you happy.. and its a small hotel but wort to stay hear.. normal people know this hotel .. say to driver to check In into Banaras say they take you there...
