Samras Hostel is government Hostel, admission process is based on your Merit, there are 4 block and 9 story building, Near Samras hostel Cricket ground and Jogging park also and 4 line road so u can easily movement for any place in Baroda , every half our city bus facility also near Samras boys hostel.

I have one year experience in this hostel, and I think samras is best hostel for your study environment and that is super. You will get all basic needs that is provided by hostel with free of cost obviously. And if you get admission in this hostel then you are lucky one. Start your journey and best luck for that.

Mind blowing place

A place that soothes me...The more you stay the more you gonna love this place...Well the facilities are good but the management officers are having problems of laziness and lack in skill to provide some facilities to students like meal.Over all love this place.

Good , as far as the accommodation is concerned I.e good facilities like bed , cupboard, lighting ,ventilation etc . regular cleaning of rooms and lobby. but lacks the basic facilities like clean and pure drinking water , food quality is also not upto the mark.. The lift very often doesnt function properly or gets stuck at some floor and for the ones having their rooms on the upper floors it is a big problem which should be given utmost importance by the hostel management.

This is best hostel for student whos financial condition is not good but who have good knowledge...Samras boys hostel fee is 0 rupees...

Good arrangement for students

It is good And big boys Hostel but need to clean all the floor, as per their future plan they make very big hostel but they are not able to clean, so many room is close, i think only 50% hostel is in current use.

This is best place for the students....All the facilities providing here for the selected student are free..Sometime the issu of the mess also bt u can manage it....here two types of rooms....2 seater and 4 seater.....Also a Elavator facilitys and beautiful place....Near the hostel also a facility available such as... Transportation, stationary,Near a beautiful garden also....and last A City bus service also.....

Amazing Journey

Hard to get admission for open candidate, but hostel condition is quite good.

It is basically hostel for Boys doing bachelor degree and master degree in vadodara and around area. It has two bed per room. Room is equiped with basic need like cupboard, table,chair. They also provide blanket and bed cover. Canteen also available. Breackfast, lunch, dinner available. All this service available free of cost. It is good initiative of government of gujarat.

My grand daughter had gone on May 2018, vacation tour as student from convent of Jesus and Marry girls highschool Vadodara, All the arrangements were immaculate, but those few girls who went to scale Brigu peak,at 14000 ft.,were not provided with sufficient climbing gears , fortunately they could climb the Brigu peak,but then with great difficulty. When she narrated her venture, I thank God for safe return. I dont think weather Samara treking camp organizeres are fit to organise?

Students comes from outside Vadodara and wants to study in Famous M.S. University or other Famous collages so government decided to built hostel where more than 1000 students can stay and study without any charge and hostel name is SAMRAS where there all the caste students can live together.

Best Government Hostel in Vadodara,Located at Sama-Savli area, which is very far away from the educational area Like... Maharaja Sayajirav University. And other Main Places.Poor quality road to reach here...No Proper Connectivity to main road so Students suffering a lot.Free Food & Accommodation,Nice Food Quality,Full facilities of accommodation,High security.Student are not so aware.They misuse the resources like... Tabels, Bathrooms, doors, Food.Thay take admission in more than two hostel and stays no where.So Needed students are not getting admission.Shame on they Students. 😢

A student of samras hostel( Special hostel by Govt for students) shared images of food served on social media which went viralShe added From last one month the hostel canteen is serving us stale food and worms are found in it. students have also tried to contact the above authorities but no actions has been taken. The condition of the bathrooms are worse than a nightmare. There has been no water supply in them.
