Its a super place to organise some function like for 300 people and also nice seating arrangements.

Various cultural and political shows are hosted here. Even some magic shows and comedy nights are held here. This can be one of the oldest auditorium in the city. And the highlight here is Mahatma Gandhis statue just outside the auditorium. And at some days many political parties and the citizens of vadodara choose this location for their protests against the government or local bodies.

Nice place good condition neat n clean

Oldest Hall of Vadodara It situated in the heart of the city.Stage,seating capacity is good.many stage shows and plays-Drama performe here.But main problem is parking. As it is in the middle of city there is lots of traffic outside the hall and there is not more parking space for cars and not for set loading.Stage is far from set loading-Unloading place so it is very difficult for settings department to move it. There is ladies and Gents Greenroom too.Gandhijis Big idole instole outside the hall.

A large and popular auditorium in Vadodara, with the capacity of 1000+ audience. Sound quality, stage size, seating arrangements, cleanliness, services are good.The only negative point is lack of proper parking area. There is no specific parking area allotted.

Been to this place after many years. Actually after a decade or so but it helped recollect the old memories when we used to attend cultural and school functions. The times then were very different from today when those were worry free times and the only thing in mind was to enjoy.This place mostly acts as providing a platform for drama/theatre, musical shows and now-a-days rare magic shows.This time also the experience was good. They have also upgraded the place. It is now air-conditioned with semi-push-back seats. This place is managed by local government but would say it is maintained nicely considering the situation of other government controlled places.

Mostly gujarati nataks are held here. A good place, from inside it is well maintained and quite clean. It was reconstructed few years back and is now fully air conditioned. Even the sound system is good. School annual functions, dramas are held here. They now even have a parking facility but thats not good, so people have to park their vehicles on near by road.

Sitting arrangements are very poor... Seats are too much lower level... Your legs become tight if you stay there for more than 5 hrs... For entertainment programs its okay for 2 or 3 hrs... But never held long session like Meeting or any Classdiscusion in this hall... Surely you will get tired by changing your leg position... Thank you..

Good auditorium.Washrooms are available but no water cooler is there, have to bring your own supplies.And since in the heart of the city, getting a place to park is a struggle.

Its spacious, its government owned and operated...recently renovated. Seats are quit ok but slope is inadequate. Slope between rows must be such that front rows does not obstacle view of back rows...very bad

Mahatma Gandhi Nagar Grub is the The Best historical auditorium at the centre of city. Nicely architectural design executed too many years ago. The auditorium is located at prime location around the thousands of shops and historical landmarks. The only big problem is parking space is not so enough. Rest is great.

I didn’t get chance to enter and attain any function or event in Mahatma Gandhi Nagar Gruh but I always found some event organised there. From Blood donate camp, political party event to any other social event.Center market place in Baroda with organised parking space as per odd and even dates at particular side. But be careful for no entry camera.

Auditorium is still in good working condition. We enjoyed the program with family.Place worth hiring for cultural or other annual functions. For Drama, its better than Sayaji Nagar Gruh, considering technical aspects.

Good nice pushback seats for sitting. Sitting arrangements are well planned so that even sitting on the last seat person can easily watch the program. Stage is also perfect at good eyesight. Restrooms sign should be properly indicated so that person sitting in the hall should not get confused. In the monsoon the hall is stinking, bad dampness smell is coming in the hall

This mahatma gandhi gruh is amazing for plays. In this nagar gruh many plays were done and they are amazing and which can also ve done by us(my team). We can do plays or roles in this gruh and can entertain the peoples.

Very nice auditorium hall. Total 650 seating here, it is comfortable for big programme.

The old charm. Oldest town hall of the city. Parking is challenge in day time, in night show parking is not a problem. its renovated and nicely made up now. Apart from shows its mainly place for any public meeting and protest march etc as well.

Fully air-conditioned, this town hall can accommodate thousands of people at one time and is thus used for various cultural functions. Within the town hall are three dressing rooms and a statue of Mahatma Gandhi standing in the compound. Located near Jubilee Baug, the town hall is accessible from all parts of city via local conveyances

Local Town hall cum auditorium. Good place if youre looking for an auditorium in the heart of city. Occupies almost 800 to 1000 people with lower and balcony sitting. The bookings can be done by personally visit the place since they dont support online payment method. They allot bookings in three hours of slots. You can get couple of hours extension pre or post event depending upon the availablity. You might have to make arrangements for sound and lighting from outside sources and they allow it too. Its an old infrastructure so dont expect 100% cleanliness. Car Parking may be a big problem in peak hours except weekends.

The place is good but the seats are closely packed and congested. The sound system and inner atmosphere is good. The rents are high as compared to the service. One may face parking problems for huge crowd. Staff behaviour I felt was not good.

Second oldest Auditorium of Baroda city after Deepak open air theatre where many popular Play ( Natak) show, singar show, socials, politicals official etc. Programs had organized.this is moderate building & have accommodate approximately 800 persons . Lighting & Sound system is conventional. Still very popular in a Baroda community . Now days only small programs are to be organised. STATUE OF GANDHIji is attractive & Landmark for Amaranant Fast ( Upvas ) , Agitation movement for political parties.parking problem is very big.

Parking facilities should be developed as per the capacity of the hall..

3 star for the auditorium for the programs offered here.....Otherwise the auditorium is not in a good condition and need renovation very much...The location is very crowdy and in the centre of the city... Thus traffic and parking is the biggest problem here..If u want to book the sayaji rao auditorium or deen dayal upadhyay auditorium you wil have to come here for booking...
