I was having right knee pain since last six months .consulted many doctors in Guwahati (Assam) for the same but no one could give me a proper diagnosis. I happened to visit this hospital during covid lockdown phase for urgent fracture support. The staff is very warm and supportive. Our turn came with minimal waiting.Talking about Dr. Patni, he is an excellent gentleman. He listened to me carefully and analysed all aspects of injury. Mini Operation theatre cum xray xray room was so neat and comfortable. Doctor diagnosed everything perfectly and i im fit and fine today.Adding more on todays experience, i was checking my file for Mediclaim. I found a small chit where it was written for cash counter to collect charge for xray+consultation. But i remember, we paid for consultation only while entering hospital. So i called doctor and asked for the difference amount to be paid by me for xray. He was kind enough and waived off that charge. In addition he did free consultation on same call about my hand movements and in extremely friendly way.Many thanks to doctor and hospital.

Turned out to be a bad experience for us. My 7 year old daughter got a sprain in the elbow while playing..went for a checkup late evening..got the xray done..the doctor insisted sedation( strange !! as this was a kind of anesthesia through an anesthetic ) for plastering the elbow.Quoted a cost of eight to ten thousand for a simple sprain..he wasnt able to explain the problem clearly.. charged a heavy fees for just the checkup and opinion was verbal.. I insisted to give his report and recommended procedure in writing, post which he wrote something which didnt match with what he had verbally told. It clicked us that we should take a second opinion. Another doctor suggested to apply an ointment and support the sprained elbow with a crepe bandage and she healed in just 2 days. This was a learning for us!!

Doctor is very thorough in explanation to a layman. He listened to you carefully and give enough time in consultation. One drawback of this hospital is it is situated on second floor and sometimes lift is not working. I faced same situation when i taken my aunt to the hospital and she couldnt walk due to injury. I had frequent and sudden problem of knee locking in right leg from past one year. After consulting lot of doctors and MRIs, I visited Dr. Pankaj Patni. He was able to diagnose immediately and he explained my family that I have developed a tear in my discoid meniscus and that it can be corrected through knee arthroscopy and meniscus repair. Everyone says that doctors rob but our kalpa is completely different. Dr. Pankaj Patni gave us good treatment in Vio Hospital but did not take much money from you. My mother had a fracture of the buttocks for the operation which I did very nicely to Sir at a very reasonable price, thank you very much for that.
