Dont ever go to Dr Himanshu Patel (so called Gastroenterologist).No work ethics, only money matters (can jeopardize your life for few thousand Rs): utterly inhumane behaviour.My dad has unfortunately went to see him in Isha Hospital for a tummy ache. He has carried out a colonoscopy/biopsy straightaway, without even explaining to him what it was all about (no prior blood test, no medication..etc.). My father was just told that a test was required, and my father just naively believed him.Then colonoscopy eventually lead to internal bleeding, and an extremely low haemoglobin level after few weeks. During his colonoscopy test he witnessed many patients that went through endoscopy/colonoscopy for no apparent reason (our guess), who couldnt even afford it, and ended up waiting for hours and hours until payment can be arranged by them.I cannot launch a legal case against him because no blood tests were carried out prior to colonoscopy, hence, cannot prove that a significant drop in haemoglobin level was due to the colonoscopy. All we know for sure is following: no Gastroenterology issue was detected (even no colonoscopy was necessary, as confirmed by other Drs), haemoglobin level dropped < 7 following the colonoscopy by Dr. Himanshu Patel, and fortunately recovered back to 14 after a few months with the necessary treatment by another doctor.

Gradually, the spectrum got widened, committed people joined , new Equipments were incorporated , services extended to almost entire state of Gujarat. We had our share of luck.....We could contribute our bit to Development of Gastroenterology in this part of the Country.
