A park along with zoo and museum... Nice place to take your kids there or you can join many people who are coming for early morning walk. Greenery and plantation all around. There is MP Theatre inside so you can see some acts in the evening if any organized or just do sort picnic kind of sitting in the green grass lawns.Over all good place but keep covid situation in mind 😇

Very very crowded on Sunday and national holiday, electric vehicles is there at free of cost to all . Zoo is nice startup. Museum is there. Dashing at are 65/- rupees per adult and so many rides are there at very reasonable price. The main attraction is toy train.

This garden was built in 1879 by Maharaja Sayajirao III. Spread over 45 hectares, the garden has a flower clock, two museums, a planetarium, a zoo and a toy train. Just next to the planetarium is an Astronomy Park, where you can see the astronomical equipment of ancient India. This park is also known as Kamati Bagh.

Beautiful ful place enjoy and fun

The renovated sayajibaug zoo has open enclosures foe the carnivorous animals. Much better than earlier cages. Now we see them much better. I found the condition if lions and tigers much better than earlier. The timing are 9am to 5pm. Thursdays are closed. Do not carry any eatables or playing toys, it will not be allowed.

Apart from the worth seeing places during daytime,this place is a freaking paradise for early morning walkers and joggers . u get to see peacocks for God sake alongside while you jog. it blew my mind.Being from Mumbai,it was an out of d world experience. you can walk jog run or stroll. too many people but you will still not run out of space for your activities.

Well maintained garden and lots of other attractions. Main attractions are museum, aquarium, zoo etc. Its a very big garden and you can visit the entire park on mini train and battery operated vehicles. Tickets are very cheap for all attractions inside the park. Entry for the main park is free. There is a long walking or running track inside the park. There are washrooms and water stations. Parking space is also good outside the park. Maintenance can be improved but I will still give it 5 star rating as overall its a very nice place for fun and enjoyment. Also visit the Amul shop inside the park. there is also one souvenir shop. Check the map before entering the park. See my pictures where I have provided maximum coverage.

Sayajibaug is a very nice place. Its open,has lots of greenery and activity zones for both kids and adults. It lacks a proper restaurant or a food park and if the renovation project could have been completed soon.

Good park for family nd friends...Its a very big baug in Vadodara..Theres also a zoo, a aquarium,a photo gallery,an antique shop, amul parlour, flower clock,bird house, etc.Theres a amphitheatre too... Where there some programs like... Drama, singing session etc. are held...Theres a band stand too.... Where every Sunday a group of telented guys plays music instruments beautifully...Theres a good cleaning all over around...But theres a ban on cake in birthday celebration...Good place for some fresh air time...

I love this place 🤩 its oxyzen hub, its very green.We can easily spent half day OR Full day here with lots of happiness and joy. Its a huge garden with mini railway, zoo, health museum, museum, amphitheatre, walking track and many other important and intresting places.

Zoo should be converted or migrate to sanctuary so that animals can move freely.

Currently under maintenance. Most of part is closed. They have to feed wild animals. They all are week.

Splendid, amazing, enthralling experience.....all packed in one. Worth a day or atleast half a day with family. The toy train ride, mini zoo, swings for the children, walking tracks and exercise machines, lawns and parks, the planetarium all are worth visiting. A perfectly packed package around the central historical and very well maintained building. The planetarium remains closed on Thursdays.

Toy group, temple at entrance, Jogging track, Museum & image gallery, aquarium, zoo, children play area, food court, amphitheatre, place to sit and study. Bad part is lack of proper lighting arrangements. Post sunset it becomes spot for couples. Maintenance also needs to be amplified. Still a place not to miss while in Vadodara.

One of the best gardens in Vadodara. The garden is from very old times of Sayaji Maharaj. There is a museum with many antiques. The garden is famous for morning and evening walkers. Also you will find students and other groups performing live. The vibes are really good and th garden is kept clean.

Locally known as Kamati baug, this place is a huge garden having four major attractions.1] Joy train- this is a toy train that goes through the whole garden, you can see most of the attractions from the train ride itself.I would recommend you to visit at the starting itself cuz you will have an of where to spend the rest of your time.The train ride is Rs. 50 and goes for 30 mins.2] Zoo- the zoo is just average, it has some animals, but yeah, not unique. Its worth going in. Only thing is I found the nets of the cage blocking the view(only for some animals).The entry ticket is 20 for an adult, quite reasonable. It covers birds and wild animals.3] Pictorial museum- I didnt get time to visit this place. So not commenting.4] planetarium- I didnt get time to visit this place. So not commenting.The place is well developed band maintained. There are snack outlets inside.Final verdict: If you have more than 3 hours to spend in Baroda, its a must visit.If youre a photography enthusiast, this will be heaven for you. There are hundreds of frames you can make in here.

Sayaji Baug was dedicated to the citizens of Vadodara by Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad III in 1879. Sayajirao III built Sayaji Baug, well known as Kamati Baug, on the river Vishwamitri. It is one of the largest public gardens in Western India, sprawling over 113 acres (0.46 km2). It has a rich flora of more than 98 species of trees. It is one of the finest gardens in India, and is maintained by Vadodara Municipal Corporation. Thousands of citizens of the city come here for their morning walk as well as for pleasant view of the garden. The garden is home to the Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery, the Sardar Patel Planetarium, and the Sayaji Baug Zoo.There are three entrance gates. The main gate is at Sayaji square (informally known as Kala Ghoda Chowk or black horse square because of an equestrian statue standing there). This gate is only 800 meters from the main city railway station and even less from the city bus stand. The third gate is at Rana Pratap square in Fatehganj area, and the second gate stands somewhere in between first and third gates.
