Any body from any religion who wants to have feel good powers from heaven can and should visit this temple. It is always crowded but in India which place is not crowded.Excellent temple to visit.

My recent visit was on jan 2019. My native village is near by nareshwar, In vacation time whenever we visit my village at that time we never miss to visit this place. Nareshwar is very holly place. There is a temple of Param Pujya Shree Rang Avadhoot Maharaj. Very very peacefull place. There is Narmada river…There is a samadhi of Param Poojya Shree Rang Avdhoot Maharaj. it is place where Shree BABJI converted a jungle into a holy place due to his tapasya. Due to his Tapasya,Even Kadunimb leaves become sweet. Narmada river is flowing & you can have a holy bath. Anna Dan is daily available from 12 pm till 3 pm without any charge to all devotees. There are rooms available for doing meditation .It is 55 kms from Vadodara. You can approach from Palej also.A must visit to have peace of mind .A very peaceful place.There is Kapardikeswar Mahadev temple which is found by Naropant during Sayajirao Gaikwad regime .Hence,it is called Nareshwar.Holly place with temple and idol of Shri Rang Avadhoot maharaj. Place is covered with trees and is near bank of narmada. Bathing in the river is available. Food and parking facility is also available.

In 70s There was a saint Name Avadhoot, A Desiciple of Lord Dutt, who spend his years at Nareshwar. Dont Know Much about His(Avdhoot) Legacy and greatness much. One Day Visit Must.

The temple here​ is nice but the Narmada river is not . People had not taken care of the river side cleaning . So the water there is polluted . That harms our skin . The place is visit able for only ones to see the temple but the river side its up to you .

Snataka (Graduate)- served for a short period as a teacher – participated actively in social activities -abandoned all these and went to Nareswar on the bank of the Holy River Narmada for penance in the year 1925 and lived in tune with Infinity since then.His holy Mother Ma Rukmamba also stayed with him. He guided truthseekers, inspired many for social and religious activities. Organised a Rifle Camp at Nareshwar. Contributed profoundly with prolific writings in Gujarati, Sanskrit, Hindi and English languages. Alleviated miseries of all types – physical, mental, spiritual – by organising special Surgical and Medical camps and though Dava (Ayurvedic Medicines) as well as by his Spiritual powers of Duva (Benediction).Laid stress on Indian culture through practice rather than preaching. This is not a Tourist place, This is Divine place and The very First Rule here made by Shree Rang Avdhoot maharaj is to Maintain pin Drop silence in the premise.With my family we have been visiting this place from 1998 and there have been many changes till now.This is place for divine guidance seekers and devotees of Shree Dattatray Lord. Unfortunately the current management has made this place to tourist place like. The Original principal made by Gurudev is no longer followed. It is all commercial now.If you are visiting this place then do maintain the silence and keep cleanliness, don’t take prasad more than you need. Don’t leave premises without taking prasad.Always take Bath in Narmada before entering the temple compulsory.Don’t talk in temple loudly.

If you need peace of mind and a beliver of Shri Rang Avadhoot ji you will definitely visit this place again n again. You can also have a stay over here but there is a procedure you need to follow as per Maun n Parayan.
