I wish google has minus five as an option. It’s amazing to see an iconic restaurant’s fall. This used to be a must visit if someone wanted to have a great South Indian meal until a few years back but now it’s all dated, dirty and unhygienic. I received a crispy “Mosquito” garnished plain dosa!! I lost my appetite at the sight. Fortunately it was discovered in time by my daughter otherwise you can imagine what could have happened. The staff had no courtesy even to apologize for what they served.

Great environment with great facility provided by manager as well as waiter with great smile. Neat and clean restaurant with silent dinning area. Every south Indian item taste at well.Have fun...

The only amazing restaurant is for the South Indian. Even at the festival, the crowds will get less on this branch so you dont have to waitnig much. Also in the taste, sankalps name must be heard by everyone.

Delicious food. Reasonably clean. Ambience can be improved. Staff were very polite. Service was pretty quick. You cannot catch the lift from ground floor as the button does not work. However you can get into the lift if it is aleady at ground floor. Overall, good experience. Recommended.

Its a chain of hotel, serving authentic south Indian dishes. Taste wise really good, staff is co operative and cordial. You get many varieties in south Indian dishes and not forgetting filter kappi at the end. I thoroughly enjoy its food.

Sankalp has got the name or is a brand for South Indian items but this Fatehgunj restaurant is not well maintained. Quality of food is also not to the mark of Sankalp. I was a regular visitor but not now.

Such a worst quality of south Indian food. All the food was ordered was pathetic and they have taken 1 hour to serve.All foods was 1 days before food was served and they were smelling . The chutneys were also served very cold and were smelling.. No outside dogs will not have or prefer the food.. Very worst and pathetic food.. Horrible south Indian food not eaten anywhere.. Charging 1,294 money and not getting the quality of food is worst, terrific, horrible and pathetic service and food.. South Indian food is love. And as it being authentic South indian food chain. It has to be good. Not the great place but yes definitely give it a try. You wont be disappointed either.

Serves delicious delicacies of South in its signature authentic style.No wonder it has its outlets at various locations throughout India.Just love all varieties of dosas it serves and the chutneys and sambhar.Ofcrse the other southern dishes are great as well, but i keep going back for the dosas with twists.Then they serve pans in the end as mouth freshners. Pleasant people.

Worst service ever. I wanted to rate it a zero star,but that option is not available. After placing our order, we got the food after one hour.The people who came after us also got their food.Whenever we would ask the staff about our order,they would have the same answer everytime-5 mins. Very poor ambiance.. Its only named as Authentic south Indian food... The food has lost its south Indian purity..Sambur was like yellow Rasam... And coconut chutney was ridiculous.... Shame on the name of south Indian food..Complete hotel was accumulated with some fungal type smell...Very poor

One would get all authentic delicacies of South India. Ample variety of Dosas, Uttapams etc. A short range of North Indian dishes are also available. The taste, however, is not very exceptional. However, a good place for a healthy family dinner.

Food was disgusting and they charged 40RS for the water bottle which had 20rs MRP on that and the staff wont inform you about the extra charge until you got a bill

Was eating when I saw roaches moving on the front glass. My son started shouting roaches and jumped from his seat. Was a funny sight but also embarrassing. Would expect basic hygiene in a family restaurant but their front glass is so dirty and filled with roaches. Just thinking about the state of their kitchen gives me shivers. Everyone kept asking, do they even get inspected? Yuck!!!

Stale vada had been given which was said to be fresh but it was just reheated and when we tasted it had strands coming in between. They wont even apologize and said well give a other one. No acknowledgement of mistake. Please take care when u order guys. Went on my mothers bday. Otherwise food was good. Ordered Mysore masala dosa, crispy dosa and sada dosa.

Sankalp, a Chain of Restaurants throughout Gujarat. They have four outlets in Vadodara. We have been here for breakfast. As usual a nice Medu Vada and Dhonsa with various kinf of Chatni.Awesome. I have visited here with my fiance, and he told me to try pay bhaji dosa and paper dosa. I am in Luv with this restaurant. Such an awesome taste. Will go there again.

Always eaten here my whole childhood, good place for South Indian food. The dosas are made well, sambar and other accompanying items are well cooked as well. Utappam is suggested. Brownies are kinda messed up, try not to get those. Overall, the parking place is an issue or else good place for eating. Has a lift as well.

One of the oldest and very well known south Indian food providers in Vadodara. The main origin of this I think is Ahmedabad. By taking as much costlier as provide very good various types of dishes. For the family time one can prefer this place.
