Visited the old Historical temple of Mahadev ie..HATKESHWAR temple at Vadnagar with my younger brother and son. Very peaceful place for worship and prayer. Its the best profusely carved figures of nine planets, musicians, evocative dancing apsaras, regent deities, the chief gods of Hindu pantheon, scenes from Ramayana and Mahabharata... etc.Its said to be that the inner sanctum of Shiva liga have to be self emerged means स्वयंभू. There is also the temple of Kashivishveshvara in the same premises. So visit and take blessings...🙏🙏🙏

Its a very old temple, around more than 1000 years. A must visit place for people who have interest in Archeology.It is having big campus with open space. You can stay here also. Nadiol gate is also historic for nose structure on it.Inside the Garbha Gruha, above the Shivalingam, is the Shikhara (pinnacle) of the temple. A Dress Code applies for entry in the Garbha Gruha: males have to wear the Pitamber (lower garment which is like a traditional dhoti, made of silk)
