If I could give the rating in minus Ill do so. Visited for dinner during weekdays. The staff stood next to us and asked to clear the bill while we were eating. Upon telling them it is still almost an hour left for kitchen close, response was that we close early if there are not many guests. So basically for them two guests sitting and eating are not guests. In a way they started pushing us to finish early. They turned the chairs of other tables upside down. To say the least it was eye souring to witness that. We asked them to pack the leftover food, brought the box and handed to us and asked us to DIY. I felt in a way they were telling us to get out. Even though I eat all type of food so nothing personal but this restaurant is also in a way loud and clear in not welcoming certain communities by clearly stating Non Halal food. Very NON INCLUSIVE. NEVER VISITING AGAIN.
I used Breakspear Arms for my mothers Repast meal, after her cremation service July 30 2021. I googled them as i am from the USA and had to travel over to England. Arranging it on--line at this stressful time was made easy by Mr. Singh. The variety of choices and the amount served was plentiful and delicious. Thank you Breakspear Arms! Great place for family a d freinds Dinner. Order mix grill its the best and the lamb chops. Do not order chicken 65 no way it reached to the taste OT texture. But I will recommend to go.

Been here a couple of times and every single time weβve come, this place hasnβt failed to let us down! Most recently, we ordered the chilli wings for starters which were decent- not the best as they were from the last time we came, the chilli paneer and chicken 65. The chicken 65 is definitely underrated in this pub as it definitely a 10/10. The flavour was fantastic and of course the chilli paneer was also great. For mains we ordered garlic naans and their special lamb curry. As always, the lamb curry met high expectations and naans tasted great too. Overall a great dinner to have spent on the first day since lockdown ended! π

Booked for the final, sadly they over booked. Therefore they had to give us a terrible table with a poor view of a TV even though this was requested when making the booking.However one of the staff was very apologetic and managed to get us a better table at half time - very nice of him!Management I know were busy given the event but found slightly rude by just ignoring me instead of saying please give me a few mins.Food was average but kind of expected how busy they were. As I have been there plenty of times before.
Good tasting food, massive portions, shows sports, plenty seating and a big car park. One of the waiters had bad service always pushy, at one point had to be forced to change a glass that was clearly dirty but she wasnt having it.

Very strange atmosphere here It was very uncomfortable being stared at by the staff almost constantly! The food was overcooked (sharing Mixed grill) unfortunately this was my first but most certainly the last experience I will have of this establishment. Very disappointed!!

Beer and curry go together like wine and cheese. Usually though a pub isnβt always the best place to get an authentic curry, but I think this pub is a genuine exception. The Indian food is at the very top end of good Indian restaurant scale, the fact that it is a pub is just a bonus as you can also catch a footie match if you fancy. The perfect accompaniment to beer and Football was a mixed meat platter. The two lamb kebabs were deliciously juicy and even a little spicy. The lamb chops were a little tough but the sauce they were smothered in was very tasty. The fish, prawn and chicken tikka also on the dish didnβt disappoint, and as the serving was so big, Iβm surprised we found room for the mains. But we did. The chicken dish was juicy and the sauce tasty. For the fish curry we went for the spiciest option and it didnβt disappoint. Finally the okra dish was also on par with the others and along with the delicious and crispy garlic naan bread it was a good meal. So if youβre a fan of curry and beer, youβve found the right place.

Visited over a year ago and couldnβt fault the place. Returned last week and it was a completely different experience.There were flies everywhere, constantly having to bat them away from the food whilst eating and there were dead flies all over the window sill right behind us.There was a large husky roaming around, I personally donβt mind as Iβm a dog lover, however the staff shouted not to approach the dog as he wasnβt friendly. Why have the dog in the pub if he isnβt friendly? Especially when there were children just meters away.The owner couldnβt look more miserable, maybe if he spent more time focusing on his business instead of playing the fruit machines constantly the place might do a bit better.Dirty unwelcoming pub with average food, definitely a place to avoid. And to top it all off theyβll add a secret 12.5% service charge onto your bill for the experience!

Exceptional food coupled with Mr Singh attentive and helpful service. recommended.... Fish tikka, jeera chicken, chilli paneer, Mains; lamb masala, bindiya, tarka daal with double taarka! And the garlic and chilli naan. Delicate, thin base with lots of balanced taste.
Well Iβm giving only 1 star because thereβs no Hygiene at all. People were eating behind the bar and serving the drinks without washing their hands. Food was ok. Cutlery they just thrown on the table not even on a tissue. Service was a bit slow and when staff were at the table they just didnβt come across happy.

The service was been low shocking dont think I will ever go back here..If youre happy with less than mediocre service and happy to wait for not bad food.. sure why not. Top quality mix grill including lamb chops, king prawn, masala fish, chicken wings and pieces and lamb sheek kebab! Very flavoursome and Iβd highly recommend the masala chips, tasted so good, ordered 3 portions! Great place to watch all the sports with the big screen located all around the pub and ideal for hiring out for family events, spacious large area at the back for utilising!
One of my go to, reliable places to eat. Expensive, but usually worth it in terms of portion size and quality. However, was way below par yesterday!Fathers day)Mixed grill- very average. Chops were chewy, dripping with ghee and like all the other food that day, extremely salty. Prawns, were not good quality, fish was overcooked, along with chicken tikka, which were dry. Main theme was 5oo much salt and not cooked as normalHopefully a one off thing!.

Food is ok, but be warned of the prices on he menu, itβs expensive enough without surprising you with a 12% mark up without telling you.Donβt bother plenty of good quality food restaurants in the area that are cheaper and better quality ....GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS.

Myself and 2 friends visited the pub yesterday for food and drinks. I dont say this lightly when I say it was the single worst culinary experience of my life. Not even sure where to start but here goes:- Took us 23 minutes from arriving for someone to serve us a drink- We were moved from outside to the inside (on the hottest day of the year) because the staff were finding it too hard to come in and out- The food came and it was an absolute mess.- My Naan bread had some random masala sauce on it which makes me think it was reused from another meal.-The chicken tikka tasted like it was boiled or the chicken had some kind of underlying illness.- Everything, including the BEER, was lukewarm- The grill was miserable, nothing tasted fresh and nothing was hot- There was a dog walking around the back of the bar and I think through the door my food was coming from. I dread to think what the kitchen looks like if there are dogs walking about the food prep areas- The toilets were a mess, absolutely stunk and looked like they hadnt seen any cleaning products since pre-COVID- The pub in general just felt grubbyPositives:- Big car park- Mogo chips were quite tastyWont be back, the service was lousy and the experience just so disappointing.
We come here all the time as its the best curry around by far. Definitely recommend adding Methi Aloo and mushroom rice to your order

Visited the pub today and due to covid it was only outdoor seating. The service was very poor as the staff were not organised on who is taking orders and are all the tables fine. Customers left due to the lack of service and we had to wait 45 minutes after the first pint but still didnt manage to get any. So we left disappointed!!!!Would say needs organising and reaching every tables out to serve!!!

Great food and excellent service
So disappointed by their service, it must be the first time Im walking out of the premises without even having the possibility to perform a purchase. The table service was very rude and rasist. There was an Indian couple that came at the same time with us and their table was cleaned and desinfected straight away while the waiter after giving us a short glance neglected us and my husband had to chase him around. After a while he returned with a romanian lady they just took the glasses from the table, leaving it full of crumbs and pieces of food. When I politely asked weather we need to order food and drinks inside or wait at our table I was very rudely told to seat and wait and since then nobody approached our table. Just the same waiters were passing by and giving us angry glances. After 15 minutes of waiting we left. Dont go there if you are not local, you shall not feel welcome at all.
My first ever visit to this pub. Very nice and lively atmosphere and in a good location. Excellent range of beers on tap and good quality Indian food. Only let down was food came out a little cold. Mixed grills are supposed to be served sizzling hot, and you can normally hear them sizzling as the waiter approaches your table. Also the onions in it werent soft enough.
If you are high risk, do not risk it, until covid19 is over. This is the only place that Ive been into so far that made me feel at risk. Seating is still very close, and the staff and members of the public will pass where you sit almost touching, if this does not bother you in other respects its a nice place and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Service was a bit slow, great food when delivered
Was really looking forward to trying out this place. The pub and restaurant - a nice space with good ambience and nicely decorated. Staff helpful. Resham was our waiter. The food however was disappointing. Ordered the fish starter, Lamb Masala, Rice and Nan. Rice was dry and reheated in the microwave. Nan was ok. The curry lacked real depth of flavour but the lamb was tender although, the fat needed to be cut off better. The highly recommended fish was underwhelming - not spiced or salted enough. The waiter offered to turn it into a curry which we take-awayed. Disappointing.

Worst service Ive had ... Ever. Politely asked to be served several times, to more than one member of staff. Still took almost 30 minutes to order.
We never got a chance to taste any food because we waited for the menu 15 until we got it ourselves. Then the waiter never came and after I asked when we will be served - there was the reaction- we are busy and dont care. We stood up and left. The Place was filthy, full of flies and we will never return there

The food here was really good. We ordered from the English (not Indian) menu and werent disappointed. Based on the food Id have given this place 5 stars but sadly the service was dreadful. We were there for a birthday party with around 15 folk present so not a huge group by any stretch of the imagination. The waiter walked up and down the table taking orders from the English menu first. After this they took starter orders from the rest of the group. Food came moderately quickly but our mains arrived with the Indian starters. The Indian mains were then ordered after half the group had eaten. It was a disorganised poorly thought out shambles. If the place had been busy then theyd at least have some sort of excuse but sadly no. Good for Saturday lunch but not with a large group.

Not COVID compliant.We were so shocked to arrive for a meal and find they were hosting a party in their conservatory. This on the day this area moved to Tier 2 and a blatant disregard of all the safety measures - including the 5 posted on their own website! In the main bar there were many groups standing and sitting and no βhostingβ to manage down the risk. People were too close to each other and little encouragement from the staff who were also not social distancing.Be careful if you visit.Itβs a decent pub with great food, what a shame if it went under due to fines and/or not sorting this.

I went to do a job, Im a Locksmith. Kitchen nice and clean, food looked and smelt excellent. Ive never been as a customer but I will now when it reopens.

Extremely annoyed. This place is misleading. Most of the vegetables and fruits are halal. Even the water, soft drinks and some of the deserts are halal. All the dishes sound halal.This place also recruits Muslims.
Pretending to be non Halal but has Muslim chef. Really disappointed. Should have certificate to show where non Halal food purchased. Not really worth the prices they are charging. Better off to go to Gujji restaurant.
