You will get the train details from android app Kolkata Sub available at Google play store. The route to the Chord line is also available from Bally staion. Around 200 meters from bally staion, bally halt sation is there from there you can get train to sealdah route. And on the over bridge you can get bus to go Salt lake, dumdum airport etc. Though its very busy station is very clean.

One of the main connecting station for Salt Lake. It is also the junction of Bardhaman main and chord line. This is a connection between Sealdah and Howrah line also. The main problem is the chord line paltform and main lien platform are separated. Station is well maintained. To come to Bally station from Salt Lake side or Airport, after getting down from the bus in Bally bridge, follow the path to station which leads to the ticket counter. There are subways (genaral for all transport and get waterlogged during rain) and overbridges connecting to the main line platforms as well as chord line.
