I love the concept of Matrix Homes and like the idea of modular homes. Right from the beginning they were able to help us with planning my home all the way through the process.I found the building experience relatively stress-free and would like to thank the team for their hard-work. The build was quick and the staff were professional and kept me up-to-date regularly. I am impressed with the quality of my home and I am very pleased with the outcome.

Would thoroughly recommend Matrix. We found the staff to be incredibly helpful, always ready to answer the millions of questions we had. The initial land we had lined up fell through (fickle seller, nothing to do with Matrix), but as soon as we find somewhere else suitable we will definitely get back in to completing our house. We were getting pretty excited choosing all the different features so hopefully we find some more land soon.

What a disappointing experience, I will avoid doing any business with Matrix Homes in the future.We signed an agreement over a year and a half ago for a property in the new Tawa subdivision. Getting any meaningful communication from Matrix was always difficult. In fact, towards the end of the project communication almost stopped entirely - multiple emails and questions went unanswered. Then Matrix Homes voided mine, and others, contracts so no home for us. Very disappointed in Matrix. No doubt these properties will be back on the market in several months at a higher price. I understand things go wrong on all projects but there is never an excuse for poor communication. Next time I will go with a more established company. Lesson learned – if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

I recommend that you stay well clear of Matrix Homes. Our experience echos those of Jessica, Ricado and Daniel, but has nothing to do with any tawa development. A year or so of nothing but echos of silence and very little communication and no progress with any work, but very quick to take our money!!!!! While looking at possible alternative options, one architectural business (alone) has had 4-5 people besides us come to them looking at alternative solutions as all of them had bad experiences with Matrix. Are they going under? I note the feedback from matrix is the usual bland stock standard response!!

Terrible experience, would not recommend to anyone. Unless you enjoy being screwed over - in which case, look no further.We signed a sale and purchase agreement for a new build 18 months ago, due to be completed by the end of last year.Communication since signing our agreement has been incredibly poor, and any sort of meaningful updates have been elusive. Matrix have kept us in the dark for the last year around the progress of the build, providing vague and uninformative updates, yet the delivery dates kept being pushed back for no apparent reason.Weve now been informed that our contract (as well as those of other buyers) is being voided due to retaining wall issues - despite continuously being told that everything was on track and full steam ahead, as recently as two months ago.Its been almost two years worth of waiting, hoping, and accruing legal fees, but were left at the end of it with no house and a voided agreement. Our agreed price also reflected the property market at the time, and theres no way well be able to get anything comparable for the same amount now.Im 100% confident that this was very much calculated on Matrixs behalf, and would bet anything that well be seeing our would-be property back on the market very shortly with a substantially higher asking price, once these retaining wall issues have mysteriously resolved themselves.

Really excellent to deal with. Matrix build a quality product with good choice of options.

Avoid at all costs. Poorly organised, no meaningful communication, essentially cancelled a development after waiting about a year and a half. Seems like fabricating homes is not the future after all.
