The bad thing is that you can get a private vus from here to go to karnal only, there is no stoppage for the long route buses especially Haryana roadways.

The Umri chowk is a happening place which used to be a peaceful place ideal for walk and cycling. Not anymore as the road from sector 3 to this chowk going wide and the mushrooming of Non Veg shops/vendors and liquor shops has made it not very good place for all time.There must be some course correction by keeping this place clean as it gives the first entry to the Holy Land.Smells bad.

I was here when Im going pipli .. the road construction is poor but usable.

Not a proper crossing. Traffic lights are installed but not working. Accidents are rare as no heavy traffic. A fly over bridge over it.

This Chowk is the starting point of city Kurukshetra. West of it, are Huda Sector 30 and Sector 3.village Umri is towards Western side. Govt. ITI and Shani Mandir are near to it.

Rush is high , easy access to public transport or Haryana roadways, police checkpost, many street vendors there, sec.3 nearby, d.a.v school sec.3 , bijli board office umri nearby, on highway , NH 1, good condition and all weather roads, footpaths along roads, plz check the speed limit of vehicle, no toll tax nearby,Bridge crossing is available,
