Rooms are pretty comfortable with one of the better mini bars found in UB, the breakfast menu is limited but the food is decent. Good options for meals having four restaurants and a cafe, Wall street bar is also in the same building and the staff have always been friendly and helpful.

The concierge was incredibly responsible and willing to help. But how pleasant the stay is, really depends on which floor you stay I think.I was staying executive king room with the corner view at 12th floor, and if it were a little bit noisier I would have not been able to sleep.I was expecting the view from the catalog(website), but the window was covered with dust and very opaque. Only one window was really transparent.No doubt this place can be the best place to stay in Mongolia, but experience is not 5 star honestly.If Im staying there again, Ill make sure that the room is located in high enough floors(13+), and Ill stay in normal room(not even deluxe). If I want view, I can go to Lounge anyway.Sounds like Im angry, but Im very satisfied. Best stay I have ever had in a while. Good bed, kind service and nice location. I personally didnt experience rusty water, which seems to be really rare.
This hotel rocks! We were treated really great. We arrived at the hotel later in the evening, and the staff kept the pool open an extra half hour for us. Since we were late, we ended up ordering room service, all of the food treated great, and here is the getter ... The amount of the food on the plates was generous, so much that we couldnt eat it all. The rooms are really clean and spacious. The bellhops are ready and willing to help out. The included buffet breakfast is really outrageous, they had one of the larger selections that we have experienced. Being all you can eat is a bonus. Highly recommend a stay for anyone visiting.
Beautiful hotel with top food in UB
Nice view, expected from a 5 star hotel. The servers seemed nice. However, they did not have any Mongolian food for my dad. We ended up leaving after looking at the menu. Ulaanbaatar has so many good options for food that I didnt want to waste my time there.
Although drinks were reasonably priced, especially at an iconic tower such as the blue sky, the cocktails were rather lackluster and could have been better in terms of taste and presentation. View over the city skyline was great as well although the glass panes need to be better maintained and cleaned. Service was good though and the service crew is proficient in English.
A modern, comfortable and beautiful place to rest with excellent amenities, a friendly staff available to make each guest feel at home, each requirement is resolved in favor of the guests. I will definitely return next year 2021.
Loved the restaurant. For some reason the bathroom in the bar has one wall made entirely of glass.Sure, youre too high up for anyone to reasonably see you but its still a very strange feeling to pee when so completely exposed to the entire city.

A great Hotel with everything you need under the one roof. Staff were helpful and were more than happy to arrange postage for us. Its great having the different resturant options in the hotel for nights you dont want to go out. Our room was clean and well resourced.

Great location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff! The location is the selling point, lots of restaurants in-house and nearby, includes Gym and pool. However they need an in-house spa and massage service. Hopefully a partnership with a Tourist van service is also in the works! Overall always recommended
Terrible. Next to the hotel is a summer open air party ground. Very noisy every night. Makes sleeping impossible. I wonder how the hotel management can accept such establishment in direct neighborhood. One star for the good view.
Always stay here when in UB. Staff are happy and helpful. Rooms are modern and housekeeping is excellent. Several restaurants with plenty of food choices.
Mongolia is a fantastic place to explore and doing so will take you to some incredible natural places, however while in Ulaanbatar you really must make a stop at the Sky Hotel lounge, because the views of the city or breathtaking and second to none. the lounge which sits of the top of the 23rd and 24th floors has incredible views, great food, and a great range of drinks. The hotel is the best in the city, and in the evenings they have live music. Check it out because it really provides a complementary view to the rest of the country.

Centrally located in Ulaanbaatar. Good Hospitality, not great though :) Rooms are clean with a nice view of the city. Lounge at 23rd floor gives you a great view in the night. Nice restaurants. Overall a good place to stay if you are travelling to UB.

Blue Sky hotel in front of Chinggis square is the good hotel option to stay in Ulaanbaatar if you are lucky to get high rise room. It gives wonderful panorama view of the city.Room rates are higher sides considering room size, architecture and breakfast options.Even PUMA provides better room at just half price of Blue sky Hotel.
This place is a big disappointment.First of all, this is not a five star hotel. They falsy advertising 5 star, but in reality it is only 3 or 4.The location is great, and the only reason for my repeated stays. The view is also good. The breakfast is like any 3 star hotel. Many of the rooms have issues. I have change room many times. Most common reasons is bathroom/shower issues and strong smell of smoking.At my last stay I prepaid my room, but they also took a deposit on top. They wanted to then give this back in cash on check out. Not very convenient if you do not want cash or are traveling out of the country after the stay. There is a zero trust in you as costumer/guest.I have also been locked out of the hotel as the doors was locked and the receptionist sleeping. If this happens to you, I recommend waking up the night guard at the parking on the east side of the hotel. He can get you into the building through the basement.
Perfect location as it is the center of the city. Good service. Facility is a bit old. Breakfast is not good as not much options available.
There are sauna and pool...midday you can jump in there...then you can be at you office just after the lunch ss its all in downtown of UB.
This review is for the restaurant on the 23rd floor. I have eaten here several times. On the most recent visit, three of us ordered a bunch of appetizers and made dinner out of them. Beef skewers, chicken wings both excellent. Pizza was mediocre. Good selection of beers and other drinks. Great views of UB after dark. Live music after 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
Great customer staff service to Mr Ba Tu who was working on 8 Oct 2017 around 4pm. Knowing I am leaving the hotel to the airport, he helped me check the flight timing and found out there was a flight delay due to bad weather conditions. And also helped to call a cab for me with reasonable fare negotiated as most cab drivers out there would ask for triple times or more ! Kudos to Mr Ba TU !
Rooftop bar and restaurant is a good space with good food and great service. Furniture needs refreshing.

Would have been a great stay had we not opened our wallet and found cash missing after we left. More like a 4-star hotel than a 5-star one in terms of facilities, but one of the only decent choices in UB.

On the 3rd floor there are 3 Conference Halls, they are good. On the 2nd floor restaurant is also good.
Unique blue sail shaped tower near the centre of Ulaanbaatar. 10-15mins walking distance from attractions like central square, state departmental store, museums, UC convenience stores, cashmere store. Breakfast is standard fare so will be eating same types of food every day. The Blue Sky Lounge at 23rd floor gives panoramic view of sections of the city. The beers are inexpensive.

Panoramic views of the city and almost completely empty on a Monday night. Service is very Soviet, but the Altan Gobi beer that they have on tap is cheap and excellent.
First I thought it would be little expensive place to hangout, but the price was affordable. Atmosphere in 23rd floor lounge was nice except the group sang in there. I am not a singer or something, but there is a lot better live performing groups in Mongolia. At the end it was one of the good place to hangout in UB.

The location of hotel is in the center of the Mongolia city. The distance between International Airport and hotel is just for 20 minutes by Taxi. This is nice place for family or business trip.

I stayed here with my wife for 4 nights and were very disappointed. The room we had was a corner one and very expensive for a 3 star hotel. The electrical arrangements are terrible. the lighting and the sockets are on one circuit, so you have to leave some lights on to charge your phone/computer. very poor furniture arrangement, nowhere to hang winter coats, bathroom facilities poor. one day we had no hot water, which was fixed that night. Heating controls very difficult to use. Lack of English amongst the staff. Restaurants are terrible and we would suggest you dont eat here. Breakfast ok for a 3star hotel. The other restaurants were empty most evenings. Maybe this is the low season, but the prices are not.
An international hotel bringing luxury to Mongolian steppe. Consumer service and room arrangements are nice, yet the lodge is a bit small and some equipments are old.

The place is clean and overall good. The reason I it gets a low rating is for two reasons: first, the quality of internet is very inconsistent and bad (generally low speed), something not expected of a hotel that charges $150 a night and second, the concierge service, specifically taxi service is erratic, often delayed and without any clear information provided by the concierge. Those are the two areas to improve urgently.
We spent 2 nights in the Blue Sky Hotel on our tour with the Transsibirian Railway. It was a very pleasant stay, luxury rooms, very friendly staff, tasty food and a wonderful view and athmosphere in the bar at the 23rd floor. I just cant understand, why so many comments are so negative! We were a group of 15, and everybody agreed that this was the best hotel of the whole tour!
Nice business hotel, one of the better ones in town, very stable and good Wi-Fi, only complaint is the breakfast menu doesnt change at all! so I had the same food when I was there for business for six days..

Cannot argue that the room rate is way overpriced...but I did not really have any trouble while staying there like other people said they did...One thing that bothered me was the glass wall separating the bedroom and the restroom as I was staying with my colleague in a twin bed room...There was a blind screen but it was half transparent so... I could practically see the my colleague taking a dump from the bed...could not be happy with that...other than that... i could say it was just an average..

Its modern, staff speaks English, amazing views onto the Sukhbaatar Square and the parliament building. They have a great lounge up on the 23rd floor with even better views and live music every day except Sunday.

Very much overrated!! We payed 160euros for a mediocre room with breakfast. The breakfast was ok. There were cracks in the sealing of the room and the airconditioning wasnt working properly.At a certain point in the evening the staff just came into our room (without knocking!): Oh yeah we are here for the extra bed in your room. We need it for another room. I was just taking a shower at that time and stood there half naked.There are many other hotel options in UB that offer the same accommodation for a much cheaper price. This hotel just has a really good location and it looks fancy from the outside. Thats it!

Great location and views from 14th floor and bar at the top but getting tired and in bad need of a makeover. Wifi non existent, (0.06Mbs average), AC impossible to control and noisy, gym a bit sad. Staff are lovely but cant make up for the rest.

This hotel charged me $1000.00 more than was confirmed on my reservation (which is almost 50% more of my total bill). They also tried to charge me for airport pick-up which I was supposed to have but no one showed up for me. I have tried to get ahold of them and go through the website which I booked with and they will not return my money. I would not suggest anyone give their credit card or book with this hotel. This is a very poor business and I hope that people avoid staying here.
