The station looks good. I traveled through here by poorna express that stopped here surprisingly.

Ugar khurd is known for Ugar Sugar Works. By rail, it connects to two nearest towns Miraj in the north, and Belgaum in south. Since this Railroad connects Bangalore and Mumbai. Basically this railway station doesnt have infrastructure at all. People of this place are so used to it that they dont have imagination about modern infrastructure of railway station. Politicians over here are least bothered about improvements, implements on development of this station. Here we dont find basic facility like restroom, Baggage store, well arranged parking lot, public transport in sync with railway schedules.

Lovely small town. Fairly educated residents. Accessible by Road, Railway and by Air (100 km). Plenty of historic and religious destinations nearby. Close to large cities for shopping. Krishna river flows by the town making the evenings in very quiet and natural setting.

Good servicing

Its good after its renovation. Easily accessible. No frequent public transport but you will have rickshaws waiting outside everytime you get down here from Train in a day time. Rani Chennamma has a stop here which connects to Bangalore.

Agar railway station the best for travel

Good station with lot of connectivity to other nearby places. Need to have few more trains to bangalore

Sugar third situated on bank of Krishna river. This is semi urban area. Yet improve a lot . This city is known for Ugar sugar factory.

Poor railway stn...Govt needs to pay a lot attention as it is on the main line btn Hubli and Mumbai...It is a single platformed stn..One can get down here for Mangasuli temple... and catch autos to the temple outside the station..
