The food is homely and decent for the most part, but it has been quite inconsistent over the last few times I visited here. But if youre driving down from Bombay or anywhere a bit far off, chances youll be hungry enough to not mind, and will down everything with a few gulps of raspberry soda. In the summers, there is a local ice cream vendor who goes around in an auto rickshaw selling ice cream made from fresh mangoes. That is delightful. Anyway, its enjoyable if you can manage your expectations. If youre expecting restaurant quality fare like SodaBottleOpenerWala, this is not it.

A beautiful, green and airy place that welcomes members of Parsi community with open arms. The best part is, its walkable distance from the Agiyari and hence families with kids or elderly members can go pray at various times of the day.They also serve tasty veg & non-veg Parsi cuisine bhonu.Rooms are spacious and well lit. They all have balconies where one can have their breakfast, lunch and dinner.The owners & staff are amicable and always smiling.

Authentic home cooked parasi food. If you are in big group please let them know before as they wont store food, its all freshly cooked one. One must try the mutton dhansak, Salli chicken and mutton cutlet.

The best accommodations and food in Udwada currently. This legendary hotel and restaurant was established in 1924 and has remained the best in Udwada till our current visit in Jan 2019.Many generations of Zoroastrians stay only here during their pilgrimage to Udwada and rightfully so. If you are planning a visit to this Spiritual town, this is the only place to stay. The owners Zenobia, Peshotan and Percy will make you feel at home with their warm, kind and friendly hospitality. The best Parsi food in Gujrat state is offered here. Lots of people make a day trip from Mumbai for a quick visit to Pray at the Holiest of places but do not return without eating lunch or dinner at Globe Hotel..

Vsted on 1st Sept 2019 Nice clean rooms, fresh linens. For those who are vegetarian food quality needs considerable improvement, last time vegetarian food was also very good. Paris Non vegetarian was very good in quality as well as quantity provided. Breakfast too was very good, service excellent. Zero hospitality. Dont think they had any idea what that word meant. The dining area is built on top of the septic tank, and thus we had to have our meal amidst the stench of night soil.All in all a horrid experience. Would never go again.

Globe hotel is in Udvada. Close to Pundole agiary. There are AC and non AC rooms available. Clean, friendly and quiet. Food is exceptionally good.

I have never stayed here, but it is my favorite place for lunch whenever I drive down to Udvada on my bike on a weekend jaunt. Food has always been awesome ( and the quantites are huge ! )

Cosy little hotel with both ac and non ac rooms available. Its not much, but its well kept and clean.

Terrible.Food: Lunch was okay, could be better, blood from chicken in the dhansak. But the Dinner definitely felt like leftovers. Chicken gravy icy cold with no salt. Egg chutney pattice was repulsive; cooked in cheap oil, salt less again and COLD. Masoor was the only component that was hot and tasted fresh. We requested for a cutlet, but that too was rock hard and cold.Room: Average cleanliness. The key entry to the room was extremely stiff. Lots of black ants, which promptly climbed onto the beds. But the MOSQUITOES! My husband and I were up all night protecting our kids from being bitten. I am not exaggerating when I mention the count being a hundred or more!The A/C was leaking too! But that was overseen as the call of the hour were the mosquitoes! The TV was a struggle to operate, (the screen would freeze suddenly), so we gave up and switched it off.We did not complain about anything, not even the food, though we have noticed a deteriorating trend since our prior stays. Also, not even basic amenities like a hand towel or tissue roll, or even a tiny soap bar was in the room. We didnt ask for anything still!But, when we tried to contact the owner at midnight, out of extreme worry regarding the mosquitoes, he blocked the number!!! So unprofessional and such lack of concern and disregard for his own guests! No one cares to wake up someone from their sleep.Extremely Disappointed and never again. So much for our wedding anniversary night and our infants first stay at Udvada.The rava at breakfast tasted like soap, the eggs were again cooked in the cheap oil with excessive salt this time around.The owner, tsk, tsk, tsk... the lesser said the better. Well, his ownership skills are non existent. He had the audacity to charge Rs. 200/- extra for a bread and butter sandwich which my daughter ate for breakfast.We paid the fully asked for amount in cash.
