If you are at Udvadu the trip cannot be complete without a taste of Parsi food at this one and only Irani restaurant in Udvada. Let me warn you that there is a huge demand of its product and thus head in the morning to get a taste of all available items. Unfortunately I was late and went late in the afternoon and thus got my hands on the left over Mawa cake which were excellent. Loved it

Tucked in a bylane of udwada (close to cafe farovar) near daman this place offers excellent quality of cakes n biscuits ! Rum cake and mawa cakes were an absolute delite..😋 ... regretted taking less quantity 😃 one thing they can do is make the mawa cakes bigger ...If I compare them with mawa cake size of Punes Kayani they look very tiny..

Must visit place if you like authentic bakery items which is home made.

This place has some cool milk cakes and cookies. Do check out of youre ever around Vapi or Valsad. The sea face near the bakery is also great.

Taste wise everything is very good. Has the typical Irani bakery feel with the typical nonchalant feeling. I went there for the mawa cake and it did not disappoint. We also loaded up on nankhatai biscuits as well. As we visited in the middle of the day, as expected most items were not available. For the health conscious note that all items are made using vanaspati/margarine

Their butter kaju naan khatai is good ..but costly at Rs. 600 a kilo. The normal naan khatai costs Rs. 200 per kilo and that too is good as a accompaniment to tea.The lady who mans the bakery is a bit cranky but genuinely helpful.

Superb mawa cakes and coconut macaroons are available here. Do also pick up their khaari biscuit and their batasa as the perfect chai accompaniments.

Sugar coated puff biscuits are great.

Pure in its offering and yummy by taste. Fav and must try : Mawa cakes, Naankhatai, coconut cookies & biscuits, khari and soft cakes and puffs. Do try them all. If you have a taste bud, Youll know the difference between Mumbais and this Udwadas bakery.

This is the place to go to if you like Parsee snacks and confectionery... Mawa cakes are popular but have deteriorated in quality over time, very overrated now a days and not worth its price. You could find better quality mawa cakes at other places and at much lower prices too. However other items are good and reasonably priced.

Authentic irani bakery in Udhwada. One must visit atleast once. Their amul butter biscuit, khari, mawa cakes are simply delicious. Specially such type of butter biscuits I never ate in my life

Nice place ,Beautifully servehere.Most travellers only stop into Udvada for the day or for a single night. If you’re driving out early evening, make sure you stop by the Irani bakery on your way back from the beach to get your fill of Mawa Cakes, Batasa, and Khari.

Tucked away in a small lane in Udvada village, Irani Bakery is the go - to place for all types of biscuits, laadi paav and mawa cakes. At Rs. 15 a piece, the Mawa cakes are one of the best I have had in a while. Close the gate otherwise, the cows may also come in behind you and the owners or staff will remind you to close it !!!
