This shop was good. Now the staff etiquette are very poor. I needed beer and the store people you buy whiskey then you will get the beers. Who are they to decide upon what should I drink. Do not visit the store. There are other MRP stores with staff who provide what you need.

Best wine shop in the town

These guys are cheats!! Went to the store to buy some imported liquor and instead of charging MRP rate they charged well over it. For 2 bottles they overcharged approx Rs 300 each so a total of Rs600 and the owner was being rude and giving some pathetic reason for it. They lost business for Rs 5000 and also their reputation. I am surprised these guys still have their license to operate. Bloody Amazing!! And now for a photo of the cheats...SMILE ;)

Had been to the Mangalore city outlets of Wines & Spirits and was impressed with the service. Unfortunately the Udupi outlet was very disappointing. The person at the cash counter was rude and showed absolute disinterest in showing basic courtesy. Was not keen to accept Credit Cards. Insisted that payment be done in cash or Debit card. Was willing to accept Credit Card, but insisted that the transaction surcharge charged by the bank would be passed on to the customer. Even took payment for the cloth bag in which the liquor purchased is handed over. My last visit for sure.

Good place to walk in and choose ur brand In person. I would like to add on, some education to customers.Price of the brands are all MRP.But, Why its priced more than MRP on some bottles?Liquors are operated through Govt KSBCL Karnataka State Beverage Corporation Ltd.All Liquor Company brands are stored in govt warehouse.And outlets lift stock from this govt undertaking. And Bill the stock in MRP price only.Now coming back to why its charged more than MRP.Price hike occurs every year from govt as well as from the company. But previous MRP stocks will be available it the warehouse and outlets bill that stock paying new price.Therefore automatically on billing they will get new price though the price in the bottles are old MRP.So its not the outlet fault. So before concluding or taging someone as cheater, kindly have some knowledge about things.Thank you.
