Some efforts regarding cleanliness like spreading awareness or managing waste disposal is required as there is a lot of litter in the portion of the beach with a lot of tourists. The portion of the beach which is a little towards the pier (called Sea Walk here) without a lot of tourists is much cleaner and more enjoyable.

Most people in review section have already declared evening timings to be good as there would be lot of activities including animal riding(which clearly abuses animal) or para gliding etc, I don’t deny it, it is good. But you are missing out the morning part where local people prepares their morning routine which is fishing. Above that, you can enjoy the whole beach for yourself as there will be less traffic and in turn you will feel much more calm in that beach. You just could explore or stroll on beach with any disturbance for sure.

This beach is very beautiful and less crowded as compared to other beaches. You will get peace of mind with the tune of ocean waves here. The color of the sand is golden and it is a quick-drying sand.There is a watch tower nearby for sea patrolling purpose.It may be a safe beach to go inside up to a certain limit. Coast-guards keep an eye on every visitors, and they can guide you about safely measures to be followed on that beach. Hotels for food and accommodation are available in reasonable rates.There is an Island called St.Angelo Island nearby. You can go there by hiring a ferry boat available over there.You can spend a day or two easily without getting bored.overall, this beach is very nice to visit.

Two months ago Im visitedBeautiful beach. Very small but has its own beauty with its irregular plane with sand going up down like a hill which also makes it a bit dangerous to go near the waves as suddenly it may rise or fall deep. Very nice place to spend a relaxed evening watching sunset. Can see a lot of locals and families enjoying here.

Malpe Beach is one of the safest Beach in UDUPI. It has all the amenities around. Good paid parking space, food stalls, beach sea food cafes, resorts. A good range of water sports are also available during September to May. This Beach is closed for visitors during Monsoons ie June to August every year. And any visitors are banned to enter the water during Monsoon, which would be fatal.Cleanliness is maintained well and lifeguards, policemen are there for your security, during the proper season. Be a responsible traveller and throw your trash in the bins provided. Keep the beach clean.

Awesome beach to hangout.... has plenty of adventure games like banana ride, parasailing, turbo ride.. Beach is very neatly managed and looks clean almost all the places... has bathing and toilet facilities.... would have added the locker facilities so that one can put all their stuffs inside and go out for playing in the water.... even one can plan for sailing to St Mary Island which is just half an hour from here... they took 300 for the ride but its only in the day time and closes by evening...

There are so many small stalls and shops selling food, drinks, and snacks.The beach was very crowded while I was there.There are many activities for the visitors. They have parasailing, cars like buggies for driving in the beach, ans also many other activities.There is a boat service from the beach towards St. Marys Island.Many people goes for the Island.The beach will be crowded until 11 pm.I was planning to make a tent at the beach, so I needed permission from the local police station.I got the permission and then I made my tent inthe beach and had an extra ordinary experience of my life.

A day at St. Marys island 🏝😍Absolutely loved my visit to Malpe beach & fr there to St. Marys island. The boat which takes us to Island costs 300/person and it takes around 20mins to reach the island. We can spend upto 1 hour at island and return back to the land.Theres so many other activities which you could at Malpe beach. Also, its a humble request please dont throw waste here and there, use the dustbin provided, please do your bit to keep the place clean for others to enjoy their visit. Thank you 🙏🏻

Visited us stranger.. Its calm Beach with water rides.. Group boating, hourse ride. Camel ride.. And the sea walk is wonderful for evening walkers.. Enjoyed with parking fee of 30 for car and entrance ie development fee 30 for car.. Cleane secure place for family with limited package..

Better place than Goa. Bit crowded on the weekends. Many water activities are available at very cheaper rate. Parasailing is one of the main attraction. Though it stopped from the month of May to September.

Malpe beach is a busy beautiful beach. There are a lot of water sporting activities here.People can really enjoy the water activities. There are water rides such as jet ski, banana ride, speed boat ride and much more. There are boat services from here to the St. Marys island.... but when we had been there we couldn’t enjoy the activities as the agent denied us to accept payments from google pay or PhonePe or any online mode of payment and he demanded for cash payment for which we had to travel all to Manipal (10 kilometres) away from Malpe beach to withdraw cash...this was ridiculous and right now in each and every shop and in each and every small shops all accept the online mode of payment like even a coconut tender mini shops will accept online payment but I was really disappointed by the way they behaved like asking us to bring cash...I think government officials should really think about this and should make easier for the customers why because most of them travel all over to Malpe beach to enjoy so I really don’t think that they will be disappointed...though we didn’t demanded them to reduce prices for activities they demanded for cash payment which was really really careless about them...keeping this part aside the sunset view was so awesome and we really enjoyed at end 😻🔥

Mini Goa Thats the apt for definition for this beautiful beach located in Udupi.There are a lot of water sports activities like paragliding, sailing, boating , jet ski etc . Very well maintained beach . Visitors can swim in the sea . There are public restrooms .Any street food lover will go crazy if they visit this beach. There are a lot of food stalls , live fish , Chinese food, Indian foods etc.The only negative thing about this place is it is overcrowded . Avoid weekends and visit before 4pm . The sunset view is simply WOW.

This is undoubtedly a must visit beach if your coming to udupi , this is the main beach , it also has malpe sea walk which is near to it , you should visit that place too and you get a boat ride to ST.Mary island which is nearly 25-30 min ride(around 300rs/head two way) from here . And there are many water sport activities too like paragliding (1k Rs /head) and other small boat rides . You can dedicate the whole day for this place.

Malpe beach in udupi very good beach must to visit place and there is sea walk you can walk half a kilometers on stone bridge there is boating and many but sky drive per person 1000rs there charge us on new year 2021 and after playing in beach we can take bath there is bathroom for gents and girls to take bath per person 10rs and there is St Marys island we should travel by boat there charge per person 250rs you can board near sky walk for boat and there give us life jackets also to island it may be like 4 to 5 kilometers 20min travel and in island we can take nice photo shoot but playing in island beach little risk because more deep and there is hotels to eat mainly non veg but out side food and water bottle not allowed and near Malpe beach there is lot of hotels to eat veg and non veg like different kind of fish there is no best month to visit but best time is evening after 4pm best time only there is bus service also from udupi bus stand per person 15rs and it is just 6 to 7 kilometers only have a happy journey thank you

Difficult to fine best room for staying and cost are higher side as it has limited resorts or rooms.Must try fish fry on street you will get n number of stores.Please read safety rules before you taking parachute.Zorbing, motor boats, camel and horse riding, monster truck, high jump and kites attractive rides.I didnt visit St Marys island so dont know anything about it.

Beautiful beach and very crowded, sunset is awesome. If we walk few hundred metres itll be less crowded.

Ocean breeze shall make things ease, but more the people visit, more the litters are everywhere, unhappy with the way people have kept spoiling the place. If not this would definitely stand top.

Scam beach. It commercial, so plenty of activities and food to eat. But be careful when you bargain rate for watersports activity and ask them duration of each activity. (They might take you out for less time or tell a higher price after the activity)St. Marys Island is a good place visit from Malpe Beach. (400/- per person)Parasailing (1000/- per person) They might ask you for a dip in water(300/- to be paid on boat. Its a scam)Bumper ride (they will quote 300/-,500/- or 800/- per head) Be careful when you negotiate the price.There are toilets, bath place and cloth changing areas for 20/- per head.Lifeguards are okay but like any other commercial place its a business. I had kept my phone on one of wooden umbrella. When I went back it was with one lifeguard. He asked me the price of phone. He gave me the phone and asked for 5000/-. Gave him 500/-. Nothing wrong in paying someone for doing something good but some people behave quite weird (he wasnt joking).

Well maintained beach. Water rides available and organized by local authority. Very nice to see the sunset. Beach side street food is great. Especially for fish lovers, can enjoy varieties of fresh fish fries at very reasonable price. Good with family and friends.

One of the must visit beaches in Udupi. This place has good restaurants nearby with tasty foods, especially great seafoods. It is also commercialized with lot of entertainment options like Parasailing, Banana Ride, Jetski Bike, Speed Boating, Ringo Rides, Kayaking etc.A visit to St Marys Island is a must do when you are at Malpe. Its a very pleasant ride and the Island itself is a very beautiful place with natures beauty. You can also see few sea creatures like Crabs, Turtles and if youre lucky, you might even get to see Dolphins on your ride to the beach or back.The reason Im giving 4 starts here is because, due to lot of commercialization and lot of people visiting the place, I dint feel that the beach was very clean and was not well maintained. Could be much better if people do not liter and govt works towards maintaining strict rules.
