It is described as one of the oldest Ganesh Temples in Udaipur. It is almost 500 years old. There is a story behind the formation of this temple which is associated with Lakha Banjare. Lakha Banjara was passing through this place 500 years ago, so he thought of taking some rest. There he made a statue of Ganesha with the cow dung of animals lying around. While these people were sleeping at night, fast water came in the river Sisarama and washed away the tied animal and the idol of Ganesh ji. Lakha Banjara was very unhappy with this and requested the Maharana to build a Ganesh temple. Because of this, this temple is called Pala Ganesh ji. There is a huge event on Ganesh Chaturthi here every year.
