SHIKSHANTAR is a Jeevan Andolan for re-thinking education and development, based in Udaipur. We had an enriching discussion with the co-founders Manish and Vidhi on reforming the existing system of factory schooling.This Initiative by Manish and others, nurture the heart calling of young people. Its a self designed learning program to express his/her voice.The campus was mesmerizing with the innovative systems and arrangements. Most of the marvelous works were made out of recycled or waste materials. The campuses focus on self sufficiency starting from organic farming to waste material recycled products

If I could give six stars to a place I would. Shikshantar is not easy to define. It evades and makes us doubt the categories we usually use in society. It is a place to meet, connect, learn, play, share and explore. Manish, the founder, is such a huge inspiration and has made me completely rethink the way I look at education. Shikshantar offers some groundbreaking ideas to bring society the transformation it needs to live more happy, connected and fulfilling lives, and is bringing change to so many peoples lives already.

Shikshantar name is enough to understand that why should you go there.
