Located on the east bank of Jagannath Dighi, this temple is called Sri Sri Hari Mandir. According to historians, it is a Vishnu temple built by Maharaja Dhanyamanikya. After the capital left Udaipur in 180 AD, the temple was covered with forest. In 1901, a gentleman named Bardakanta Nag came to Udaipur to build the ashram of Loknath Brahmachari. He did not get the place he wanted for the ashram. On his initiative the temple was cleaned with the help of local eminent persons. Bardakanta Nag placed a picture of Radhakrishna. The name of the temple is Sri Sri Hari Mandir. Distorting the history of this temple known for one hundred and twenty years, some people now call it Durga Bari.
