This is great shop with great ethics and transparency regarding the manufacture of the products. The staff were very helpful and adept and we paid by card with no issues. We loved the products so much that we visited another Sadhna shop approx. 2 miles north of this one which also has a larger stock. The prices are labelled on each product and it also tells you the name of the woman who made it. Cant recommend enough!

Brilliant cause, worth supporting. You can get your holiday gifts there all while supporting women earn a livelihood. Set prices too so no need to worry about haggling!

Tiny shop in the midst of a dingy lane but houses pretty good stuff...good collection of tops and sarees. Not enough space to store too many articles but good stuff, yes. Nevertheless, I am forced to give 3 stars with the kind of experience i faced there.We visited Udaipur in Dec. 2018. After we selected a whole bunch of products, the lady at the counter said she didnt know how to boot the card machine. After repeated trials, she could not get it going and neither was anybody in or around to help. Then, between myself and my sister in law ..we literally helped the woman write the bills. Even as another machine started working, she didnt know how to operate it. We did it ourselves. In the meantime, we had lost a good 1 hour. It was our day of return to Mumbai after a short 3-day trip to the city. We rushed back to the hotel and then to the airport. But thanks to several reasons, including cab delay and traffic, Sadhnas incompetent services at the counter was the most critical one - we missed our flight by 5 min.It is sad that having earned quite a name for itself, Sadhna failed to deliver on time and that too on a day ecpected to have considerable footfalls - 24th Dec.My advise is ..please dont leave the store/counter at the hands of any incompetent person...BTW, this lady was also highly incompetent in showing the stuff to us. She didnt know which is which or what is what. ...this will affect your business and goodwill. Cheers and Good Luck!!!

A lovely little fair-trade store, with some nice quality furnishings and clothing at reasonable prices. I got an embroidered scarf and cushion-cover.
