No use of visiting after pandemic as lot of shops are closed. Just few are opened and that too are charging double price of each and every item. I have purchased lot of stuff from there but after that when we are roaming in local market of hathipole we got same items with half price So there is no purpose of buying 55 Rs ticket to purchase things at double. Just ignore this place. Dont go with reviews. Maybe it has lost its charm after pandemic.

This is the place which is normally not there in Udaipur travel list. I would say one thing that if you want to buy amazing souvenir at a very reasonable rate and respect the craftsman work, you should visit this place. Here, central government provides a place to craftsman at 20rs a day and there is no middle guy like Amazon or flipkart is involved due to which you get an amazing product of good quality at a reasonable price. Negotiate only if required.

Shilpgram is an amazing place to visit if you want to really get to know about the rich culture surrounding Rajasthan, Gujrat, Maharashtra and Goa. Youll get to meet a lot of artists wholl give you a live demonstration of their art and you can even purchase their products at a reasonable price. To get a better experience of the place I would highly recommend a guide. Our guide at the place was Dinesh and he gave us great insight into the place.

Its was lovely Experience visiting Shilpgram. Its huge plot of land , literally like a mini village, dedicated to showcasing the craftsmanship in Rajasthan & places in India. Arts, Music, Dance, Drama, Entertainment are some of the the things youll get to witness. Alot of the artists will make you sit down in front of their shop & show you how they make the items. But do know theyre prices are sometimes very high & go there with your best bargaining skills. But you will surely not leave empty-handed. I got myself some cool jwellery for INR 450/- ( for 5 items which my sister said was very expensive) & got my nails painted in INR 200/-

Long winding mud road with shops on either side selling ethnic items from Rajasthan, Goa and Gujarat. Roving groups of musicians and dancers entertaining the public. Lots of clothes, jewelry, ethnic toys and such to buy. Local street food options. And the ever humble, pleasant local artisans and sellers. Great for 2-3 hours of ethnic immersion. This is one of the must see places. This is an ethnic village set up area. There is an amphitheatre where the traditional rajesthani dances and songs are performed by the local artists. You can visit few stalls put up by the artist and can purchase artist made stuff in pretty reasonable rates. You get a chance to communicate with the artist directly, this is one of the best thing that government has done. The artists displays their work for one week or so and get paid by govt on per day basis with stay facility. This happens on regulat basis and new artist gets a platform to exibit their work. Its a way to respect their art and giving a space to display their work to tourist. You will get best quality of bedsheets, bags, ornaments, potraits and other art and craft material. This is a must visit place if you are in Udaipur during the last week of December. A large variety of items including handicraft items, home decor items, clothes etc are being offered by people from all across the country. But if you plan to purchase something then you should be very good in bargaining. I went to this place on 29th Dec which was a Sunday and 30th Dec was the last day for the fair so it was very crowded. Not recommended to go to this place by driving your own car, as finding a place for parking will take at least one hour, so I suggest you to take a driver who will drop and park your car at a designated parking.
